Muntra, country's first unmanned tank, rolls out from the Chennai lab
Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has developed an unmanned, remotely operated tank which has three variants - surveillance, mine detection and reconnaissance in areas with nuclear and bio threats.
It is called Muntra.

रक्षा अनुसंधान एवं विकास संगठन (डीआरडीओ) ने एक मानवरहित, रिमोट से चलने वाला टैंक तैयार किया है। इस टैंक के तीन मॉडल्स विकसित किए गए हैं जो सर्विलांस, बारूदी सुरंग खोजने वाला और तीसरा परमाणु व जैव हथियार के खतरे वाले क्षेत्रों में निगरानी के लिए हैं।
इस टैंक का नाम मुंत्रा रखा गया है।
Bengaluru 40th among top 50 cities for women entrepreneurs
Bengaluru may be India's Silicon Valley but ranks at the 40th spot among the top 50 global cities that foster high-potential women entrepreneurs, according to a report by tech giant Dell.
The only other Indian city in the top 50 tally is Delhi, that at the 49th spot, just ahead of Jakarta.

डेल की वार्षिक महिला उद्यमी (डब्लूई) शहरों के सूचकांक में विश्व के शीर्ष 50 शहरों में बेंगलुरु 40 वें स्थान पर रहा। न्यू यॉर्क इस सूची मे शीर्ष स्थान पर है, इसके बाद बे एरिया, लंदन और बोस्टन शामिल हैं।
शीर्ष 50 में एकमात्र अन्य भारतीय शहर दिल्ली है, जो जकार्ता से आगे 49 वें स्थान पर है।
NPCI gets final nod to operate Bharat Bill Payment System
National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) has received final approval from the Reserve Bank to function as the Bharat Bill Payment Central Unit (BBPCU) and operate Bharat Bill Payment System (BBPS).
"Nearly 45 crore bills, which comprise electricity, telecom, DTH, water and gas, are permitted under BBPS. This initiative will provide a major push to digital payments as it is a big step forward in formalising the bill payment system in the country," NPCI managing director and CEO A P Hota said in a statement here.
Last year in August, eight BBPS operating units, which received in-principle approval from the RBI, took part in the pilot, it said.
एनपीसीआई को भारत बिल भुगतान प्रणाली के परिचालन की अंतिम मंजूरी
नेशनल पेमेंट्स कारपोरेशन आफ इंडिया (एनपीसीआई) को भारत बिल पेमेंट सेंट्रल यूनिट (बीबीपीसीयू) के रूप में काम करने तथा भारत बिल पेमेंट सिस्टम (बीबीपीएस) के परिचालन की अंतिम अनुमति मिली।
एनपीसीआई के प्रबंध निदेशक एपी होता ने एक बयान में यह जानकारी दी।
इसके अनुसार, बिजली, टेलीफोन, डीटीएच, पानी व गैस सहित विभिन्न तरह के लगभग 45 करोड़ बिलों की अनुमति बीबीपीएस के तहत है। इस पहल से डिजिटल भुगतान को बड़ा बल मिलेगा।
