5. Indian Coast Guard ship 'Shaurya' was commissioned in Goa by Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas Dharmendra Pradhan. ICGS Shaurya is an offshore patrol vessel designed and built indigenously by Goa Shipyard Ltd (GSL).

Indian Bank has introduced two tier interest rate structure for saving bank accounts and will offer interest rate of 4 per cent per annum on savings account with incremental balance of over Rs 50 lakh and 3.50 per cent per annum for deposit up to Rs 50 lakh. The new interest rate will be effective from August 16, 2017.
इंडियन बैंक ने बचत बैंक खातों के लिए दो स्तरीय ब्याज दर संरचना पेश की और वह 50 लाख से अधिक की वृद्धिशील शेष बचत खाते पर प्रति वर्ष 4 प्रतिशत की ब्याज दर और 50 लाख तक की जमा राशि के लिए प्रति वर्ष 3.50 प्रतिशत ब्याज दर प्रदान करेगा। नई ब्याज दरें 16 अगस्त, 2017 से प्रभावी हो जाएगी।
