Ajay Vipin Nanavati appointed chairman of Syndicate Bank
Ajay Vipin Nanavati has been appointed as the chairman of Syndicate Bank.
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved his appointment as Non-Official Director/Non-Executive Chairman in Syndicate Bank for three years, according to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training.

अजय विपिन नानावती को सिंडिकेट बैंक का चेयरमैन नियुक्त किया गया।
कार्मिक एवं प्रशिक्षण विभाग ने एक आदेश जारी कर सूचना दी कि नियुक्ति मामलों की मंत्रिमंडलीय समिति ने नानावटी की नियुक्ति तीन वर्ष के लिए की है। उनकी नियुक्ति गैर-आधिकारिक निदेशक/ गैर-कार्यकारी चेयरमैन के तौर पर की गई है।

नौसेना ने जल-थल-आकाश में अपनी युद्धक क्षमता में इजाफा करते हुए लैंडिंग क्राफ्ट यूटेलिटी पोत को शामिल किया। इसका उपयोग युद्धक टैंक और अन्य भारी हथियार प्रणाली की परिवहन सहित विभिन्न गतिविधियों के लिए किया जा सकेगा।
ONGC board approves HPCL takeover
The board of state-owned Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) gave 'in-principle' approval to acquire government's 51.11 per cent stake in Hindustan Petroleum Corporation (HPCL), the company said in a regulatory filing.
