1. TORN (ADJECTIVE): Ragged

Synonyms: shabby, damaged                 

Antonyms: healed, mended

Example Sentence:

2. PREREQUISITE (ADJECTIVE): Essential

Synonyms: necessary, expedient              

Antonyms: secondary, inessential

Example Sentence:

3. APPREHENSION (NOUN): Understanding

Synonyms: awareness, perception            

Antonyms: ignorance, calmness

Example Sentence:
