Definition-An Interjection is a word that is used to express some sudden feeling.

It may express-

Joy - Aha! Hurrah! Huzza!
Grief - Alas!

Surprise - Ha! What!

Approval - Bravo!

Ex. (1) Hurrah! We have won the match.

       (2) Oh! I got such a fright.

       (3) Hush! Don’t make a noise.

       (4) Alas! I have lost my purse.

       Words Hurrah, Oh, Hush, Alas are Interjections.
