In last 10 days only focus on those particular topics which will help in scoring more marks. Do not focus on such topics which carry only 1 or 2 marks questions. Some basic guidelines for the last 10 days:
1. At least 8 hours should be given each day for studies. In which two hours separately should be allotted to each respective sections. In the remaining two hours two STs should be solved daily.
2. You need not study any new topic. Only revise the earlier studied topics.
3. In last 7-10 day slot, practice maximum STs, because on the final day of exam only your time management matters a lot. The more you practice the more you learn to manage time during examination.
Quantitative Aptitude
This section contains 35 questions with overall weightage of 35 marks.
DAY 1-3: In these three initial days focus on easy and scoring topics of quantitative aptitude.
Topics you need to cover in these 3 days are:
1) Number series (5 marks)
2) Inequality (5 marks)
3) Approximation (5 marks)
This will confirm 15 marks.
DAY 4-6: Cover advanced topics in this slot.
Topics you need to cover in these days are:
1. Percentage, profit & loss
2. Word problems
This slot will cover 10 marks paper.
DAY 7-10: In these last days cover all form of Data Interpretation i.e. Tabular, Pie, Bar diagram, linear.
Reasoning Ability
This section also consist of 35 questions of 35 marks.
DAY 1-3: Easy scoring topics should be covered in these initial three days.
1. Coding-decoding
2. Inequality
3. Syllogism
This section will confirm approx. 10 marks.
DAY 4-6: Some difficult and time consuming topics needs to be covered in these days.
1. Seating arrangement
2. Puzzles
3. Blood relations
This section will cover 20 marks approx.
Day 7-10: All miscellaneous topics of reasoning should be covered in this slot of time. It will cover 5 marks approx.
English Language
It is one of the most important sections in the exam. It has always consisted minimum cut off as per some consecutive years. You need to follow a particular strategy to score high in this section.
DAY 1-3: The topics you need to cover are:
1. Error detection
2. Vocabulary
This section consist of approx. 10 marks.
DAY 4-6: Topics which are to be covered in this slot are:
1. Reading comprehension
2. Cloze test
3. Rearrangement of sentences
This section will cover approximately 20 marks.
DAY 7-10: Practice complete papers as many as possible.
These are the above sections which are essential to crack pre examinations.
First of all, your goal must be to crack Prelim examination and the mains examination must be later.
