Rajiv Mehrishi appointed as Comptroller and Auditor General of India

Senior IAS officer Rajiv Mehrishi was appointed as the next Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) of India. He will succeed Shashi Kant Sharma who is going to demit office on September 25, 2017. 

Mehrishi is IAS Officer of 1978 batch and belonged to Rajasthan cadre.

राजीव महर्षि भारत के नए सीएजी नियुक्त 

केंद्रीय गृह सचिव के रूप में सेवानिवृत्त राजीव महर्षि को भारत के नए नियंत्रक और महालेखा परीक्षक (सीएजी) के रूप में नियुक्त किया गया है। 

वरिष्ठ आईएएस अधिकारी राजीव गौबा ने केंद्रीय गृह सचिव के रूप में कार्यभार संभाला। महर्षि 1978 बैच के राजस्थान कैडर के आईएएस अधिकारी हैं।

Sunil Arora appointed Election Commissioner, Achal Kumar Jyoti is CEC

Former bureaucrat Sunil Arora has been appointed the new Election Commissioner of India. 

A 1980 batch IAS officer of the Rajasthan cadre, has been the Information and Broadcasting Secretary, and Secretary in the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship. 

Arora has worked in ministries and departments such as Finance, Textiles and Planning Commission. 

सुनील अरोड़ा को चुनाव आयुक्त नियुक्त किया गया

पूर्व आईएएस अधिकारी सुनील अरोड़ा को भारत का नया चुनाव आयुक्त नियुक्त किया गया। 

साल 1980 बैच के राजस्थान कैडर के आईएएस अधिकारी अरोड़ा केंद्रीय सूचना एवं प्रसारण मंत्रालय और कौशल विकास एवं उद्यमिता मंत्रालय में सचिव के तौर पर अपनी सेवाएं दे चुके हैं । उन्होंने वित्त, कपड़ा एवं योजना आयोग जैसे मंत्रालयों एवं विभागों में भी विभिन्न पदों पर सेवाएं दी हैं ।

GDP growth hits three-year low of 5.7% in Q1

India's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth rate has reduced to 5.7 per cent in the first April-June quarter of the current financial year. This is the lowest in three years.

भारत की सकल घरेलू उत्पाद (जीडीपी) वृद्धि दर चालू वित्त वर्ष की पहली अप्रैल-जून की तिमाही में घटकर 5.7% पर आ गई है। यह इसका तीन साल का निचला स्तर है।

Gaurav Bidhuri settles for bronze in World Championships

Indian Boxer Gaurav Bidhuri won bronze medal at the World Boxing Championships.

Before this, Vijender Singh (2009), Vikas Krishan (2011) and Shiva Thapa (2015) have won bronze in the world championship.

विश्व चैम्पियनशिप में गौरव बिधूड़ी ने कांस्य पदक अपने नाम किया

भारतीय मुक्केबाज गौरव बिधुड़ी ने विश्व मुक्केबाजी चैम्पियनशिप में कांस्य पदक जीता।

इससे पहले विजेंदर सिंह ( 2009) , विकास कृष्णन ( 2011 ) और शिव थापा ( 2015 ) विश्व चैम्पियनशिप में कांस्य पदक जीत चुके हैं ।
