Voltas appoints Pradeep Bakshi as MD, CEO
Tata Group firm Voltas appointed Pradeep Bakshi as its Managing
Director and CEO. Bakshi, currently Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer, will
succeed Sanjay Johri, when the latter superannuates in February 2018.

वोल्टास ने प्रदीप बक्शी को प्रबंध निदेशक, सीईओ नियुक्त किया
टाटा समूह की कंपनी वोल्टास ने प्रदीप बक्शी को अपना प्रबंध निदेशक और मुख्य कार्यपालक अधिकारी नियुक्त किया।
कार्यकारी निदेशक और मुख्य परिचालन अधिकारी बक्शी संजय जौहरी का स्थान लेंगे। जौहरी फरवरी 2018 में सेवानिवृत्त होंगे।
India, Russia to take part in joint military exercise
Giving a fillip to their defence cooperation, the Indian and Russian armed forces will take part in a joint counter-terrorism military exercise 'INDRA-2017' in Russia, the first such drill involving the tri-services to be held outside the country.
The 11-day INDRA-2017 exercise, starting from October 19, will be conducted at the 249th Combined Army Range Sergeevisky and in the Sea of Japan near Vladivostok.

संयुक्त सैन्य अभ्यास में भाग लेंगे भारत, रूस
भारत और रूस के सशस्त्र बल अपने रक्षा सहयोग को और अधिक मजबूत करते हुए रूस में संयुक्त आतंकवाद निरोधक सैन्य अभ्यास ‘इंद्र-2017’की शुरुआत करेंगे जो देश के बाहर तीनों सेनाओं की होने वाली पहली ऐसी कवायद होगी।
आगामी 19 अक्तूबर से 249वीं कंबाइन्ड आर्मी रेंज सर्गीविस्की में और व्लादिवोस्तक के पास जापान सागर में 11 दिवसीय ‘इंद्र-2017’ अभ्यास किया जाएगा।
Indian-American attorney recognised with philanthropy award
Noted Indian-American attorney Ajay Raju has been honoured with the third 'American Bazaar Philanthropy award' in recognition of his philanthropic activities in the US. Previous recipients of the award include, Indian-American philanthropist Frank Islam and Suri Sehgal, founder of the SM Sehgal Foundation.
