India’s Largest CDQ Facility at Tata Steel Kalinganagar
Tata Steel has established India’s largest Coke Dry Quenching (CDQ) facility, capable of handling 200 metric tonnes per hour, at its state-of-the-art steel plant at Kalinganagar Industrial Complex in Jajpur district of Odisha.
CDQ is a heat recovery system to cool hot coke from coke ovens. It is one of the best energy-efficient and environment-friendly facility in steel production where hot coke removed from coke ovens at a temperature of around 1,000 degree Celsius is cooled and kept dry with the inert gas.

टाटा स्टील ने उड़ीसा के जाजपुर जिले के कलिंगनगर औद्योगिक परिसर में अपने अत्याधुनिक स्टील प्लांट में भारत की सबसे बड़ी कोक ड्राई कुएंचिंग (सीडीक्यू) की सुविधा स्थापित की है, जो प्रति घंटे 200 मीट्रिक टन का संचालन करने में सक्षम है.
सीडीक्यू कोक ओवन से गर्म कोक को ठंडा करने के लिए गर्मी कम करने की एक प्रणाली है. यह इस्पात उत्पादन में सबसे अच्छी ऊर्जा-कुशल और पर्यावरण-अनुकूल सुविधा है, जहां करीब 1000 डिग्री सेल्सियस के तापमान पर कोक ओवन से गर्म कोक को निकाल लिया जाता है और निष्क्रिय गैस के साथ शुष्क रखा है.
India Beat China To Win Women's Asia Cup Hockey Title, Qualify For 2018 World Cup
Goalkeeper Savita produced a stunning save in a tense shootout as India won the Asia Cup to secure qualification in next year's hockey World Cup following a nerve-wracking win over China in the final here on Sunday.
The team broke a 13-year-old jinx when skipper Rani scored the final goal and Savita foiled an attempt from the rivals to ensure a 5-4 win.
India had failed to qualify for the last World Cup and finished ninth in the 2010 edition.

भारत ने चीन को हराकर जीता महिला एशिया कप का खिताब, वर्ल्ड कप 2018 के लिए क्वॉलिफाइ
भारतीय महिला हॉकी टीम ने एशिया कप में शानदार प्रदर्शन करते हुए फाइनल में चीन को 5-4 से हराकर खिताब अपने नाम कर लिया। इस जीत के साथ भारतीय टीम ने विश्व कप 2018 के लिए भी क्वॉलिफाइ कर लिया है। इस खिताबी मुकाबले का फैसला शूटआउट से हुआ। इससे पहले मैच का निर्धारित समय खत्म होने पर दोनों टीमें 1-1 से बराबर थीं। भारतीय महिला टीम का यह दूसरा एशिया कप खिताब है। इससे पहले भारत ने 2004 में इस प्रतिष्ठित खिताब को अपने नाम किया था जब उसने जापान को 1-0 से मात दी थी। इस जीत के साथ ही भारतीय टीम ने 2009 में इस टूर्नमेंट के खिताबी मुकाबले में चीन से मिली हार का बदला भी चुका लिया।
Goa to host Nobel Prize Event in February 2018
The state government of Goa signed a trilateral memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Department of Biotechnology, Union Ministry of Science and Technology and Nobel Media, Sweden to host the Nobel Prize Series - India event during 1-28 February 2018.
The event will be jointly organized by Department of Bio-Technology, Union Ministry of Science and Technology in collaboration with Department of Science and Technology and Nobel Media AB, Sweden.

नोबेल पुरस्कार समारोह फरवरी 2018 की मेजबानी करेगा गोवा
गोवा राज्य सरकार ने 1-28 फरवरी 2018 के दौरान नोबेल पुरस्कार श्रृंखला को भारत में आयोजित करने के लिए जैव प्रौद्योगिकी विभाग, केंद्रीय विज्ञान और प्रौद्योगिकी मंत्रालय और नोबेल मीडिया, स्वीडन के साथ त्रिपक्षीय समझौता ज्ञापन (एमओयू) पर हस्ताक्षर किए।
यह कार्यक्रम संयुक्त रूप से विज्ञान और प्रौद्योगिकी विभाग और नोबेल मीडिया एबी, स्वीडन के सहयोग से जैव-प्रौद्योगिकी विभाग, केंद्रीय विज्ञान और प्रौद्योगिकी मंत्रालय द्वारा आयोजित किया जाएगा।
