Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar inaugurated Indo-Bangla Friendship Park at Chottakhola in South Tripura district.
The foundation stone for the 20.20-hectare park, which encompasses seven hillocks and a lake near the Trishna wildlife sanctuary, was laid by the then Bangladesh Foreign Minister Dipu Moni in November 2010.

त्रिपुरा के मुख्यमंत्री मणिक सरकार ने दक्षिण त्रिपुरा जिले के चोत्ताखोला में भारत-बांग्लादेश फ्रेंडशिप पार्क का उद्घाटन किया।
उल्लेखनीय है कि 20 गुणा 20 के क्षेत्रफल में बने इस पार्क में सात छोटी पहाड़ियां और त्रिशना वन्य अभयारण्य के करीब एक झील शामिल हैं। इस पार्क की आधार शिला नवंबर 2010 में बांग्लादेश के तत्कालीन विदेश मंत्री दिपु मोनी ने रखी थी ।
