Synonyms: daring, courageous

Antonyms: afraid, fearful

Example Sentence:

He is a heroic person.

3. OPPOSE (VERB): fight, obstruct

Synonyms: argue, assail

Antonyms: accept, agree

Example Sentence: 

He opposed my idea of opening a sweet shop.

4. INSOLENT (ADJECTIVE): bold

Synonyms: abusive, arrogant

Antonyms: modest, polite

Example Sentence:

She is an insolent lady.

5. BUFF (ADJECTIVE): sandy color

Synonyms: bare, straw

Antonyms: clothed, covered

Example Sentence:  

I saw him in buff way.

6. CUSTOMARY (ADJECTIVE): usual, established

Synonyms: accepted, traditional

Antonyms: abnormal, different

Example Sentence: 

A customary business should be needed.

7. TAINT (NOUN): corruption

Synonyms: blemish, stigma

Antonyms: advantage, blank

Example Sentence: 

I will not hear it from your lips, and with the taint of your wickedness upon it.

8. SCANTY (ADJECTIVE): inadequate

Synonyms: insufficient, meager

Antonyms: enough, full

Example Sentence: 

The dinner was scanty.

9. SPLENDID (ADJECTIVE): luxurious

Synonyms: baroque, beautiful

Antonyms: bad, common
Example Sentence: 

This is a luxurious hotel.

10. GORGEOUS (ADJECTIVE):  beautiful

Synonyms: attractive, bright

Antonyms: awful, bad

She is a gorgeous lady.
