It’s a good news for all of you that IBPS has released the tentative calendar for Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) and Public Sector Banks (PSBs). Amidst the rumors that IBPS may not release their vacancies in the coming year, this is a positive news for all the aspiring candidates. As the calendar has been released it’s a new opportunity for all of you and you should start your preparations. This is a good opportunity for all those candidates who have not cleared the exams this year. All those candidates should not get depressed and plan their studies according to the calendar.
Expected Dates for RRBs:
For RRBs, the exams for CWE RRB-VII (Officers) and CWE RRB-VII (Office Assistants) is conducted and the expected dates are:
Preliminary Examination Officer Scale I and Office Assistants: 11.08.2018, 12.08.2018, 18.08.2018, 19.08.2018, 25.08.2018, 01.09.2018
Main Examination:
Officer Scale I: 30.09.2018
Office Assistants: 07.10.2018
Single Examination Officers Scale II & III: 30.09.2018
Exam Pattern for RRBs For Office Assistants
Prelims: It will have 80 multiple choice questions. The exam is divided in two sections: Reasoning and Numerical Ability. Both the sections will have 40 questions each and the composite time for the exam is 45 minutes.
Mains: It will have 200 multiple choice questions. The exam will be spread over five sections: Reasoning, Numerical Ability, General Awareness, English / Hindi Language and Computer Knowledge.

The scores in the mains examination form the basis for selection as an office assistant in RRBs.
Officer Scale I
The exam pattern of prelims and mains exam for Officer Scale I is same as Office Assistants. The only difference is that the online exam is followed by an interview for final selection.
Officer Scale-II
It will have a single exam. The exam pattern is same as the mains examination for Officer Scale I.
Expected Dates for PSBs:
For PSBs, exams of CWE PO/MT-VIII, CWE CLERK-VIII & CWE SPL-VIII will be conducted and the expected dates are:
Probationary Officers: Preliminary Examination- 13.10.2018, 14.10.2018, 20.10.2018, 21.10.2018
Mains- 18.11.2018
Clerks: Preliminary Examination- 08.12.2018, 09.12.2018, 15.12.2018, 16.12.2018
Mains- 20.01.2019
Specialist Officers: Preliminary Examination- 29.12.2018 and 30.12.2018
Mains- 27.01.2019
Exam Pattern for PSBs:
Probationary Officers: The examination for PO/MT will have prelims exam followed by mains examination.
