Ofo' In India.
-'Ofo' a bicycle sharing startup is planning to launch its services in India via Paytm.
-The users will be able to book and pick up these bicycle for Rs 60 per hour.
-The startup signed an agreement with Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC).
-Under the MOU, the firm wants to create a bicycle network throughout the city.
-The firm is to launch its services in Chennai, Indore, Ahmedabad and Bengaluru.
-Mumbai adds 700 vehicles every day on its roads
-The firm already has its operations spread in over 250 cities, across 20 countries.
- Ola and Zoomcar have also introduced bicycle sharing service in India.
-Ola introduced bicycle sharing service called Ola Pedal, exclusive to IIT campus in Kanpur.
-Last year, Zoomcar has also launched a bicycle sharing service in Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, Kolkata and Bengaluru, called 'PEDL.'

WEF Ranks India 30th On Global Manufacturing Index.
- India is below China (5th place), but above other BRICS peers, Brazil, Russia and South Africa.
- Japan has been found to have the best structure of production in the Geneva-based WEF’s first ‘Readiness for the future of production report’.
- South Korea, Germany, Switzerland, China, Czech Republic, the US, Sweden, Austria and Ireland are in the top 10.
- Among BRICS nations, Russia is ranked 35th, Brazil 41st, and South Africa at 45th place.
The report has categorised 100 countries into four groups -
- Leading (strong current base, high level of readiness for future);
- High Potential (limited current base, high potential for future);
- Legacy (strong current base, at risk for future);
- Nascent (limited current base, low level of readiness for future).
India has been placed in the ‘Legacy’ group along with Hungary, Mexico, Philippines, Russia, Thailand and Turkey, among others.
China is among ‘leading countries’, while Brazil and South Africa are in ‘nascent’ ones.

भारत को हंगरी, मैक्सिको, फिलीपींस, रूस, थाईलैंड और तुर्की के साथ 'लीगेसी' समूह में रखा गया है।
