Dear Aspirants, UPPSC has released notification for the post of Samiksha Adhikari & Sahayak Samiksha Adhikari and as per the notification, its exam is scheduled to be held on 8th of April 2018. We have Approx 3 months for the preparation. For preparation, it is very important to know the Exam Pattern, Syllabus and type of the questions. In this post, we are going to discuss the Exam Pattern of Samiksha Adhikari & Sahayak Samiksha Adhikari.
This exam will have 2 phases:
1- Preliminary Exam
2- Mains Exam
Prelims Examination: Prelims exam will be objective type exam. It will be of 200 marks and will have 2 Papers:
A) General Studies: Duration of General Studies is 2 hours. It will have 140 questions of 140 marks.This section will have questions from General Science, History of India, Polity, Current National & international Events and many more topics. We will discuss syllabus of Samiksha Adhikari And Sahayak Samiksha Adhikari Exam in the next post.
B) General Hindi: Duration of this section will be 1 hour, and this paper will contain 60 questions of 60 marks. In this section, questions will be from General Hindi like- Opposites, Synonyms, One word for several words etc.

Mains Examination: Mains Exam will have three papers- General Studies, General Hindi & Drafting, Hindi Essay.
General Studies: It will have 120 questions of 120 marks to be solved in 2 hours.Syllabus of General studies Mains & Prelims will be same.
General Hindi: This Paper will have 2 sections:
A) Conventional Hindi: This Paper will of 21/2 hours having 5 questions of 100 marks.It will have questions like- Heading of Given Passage, Precis and explanation of the underlined parts, Official/Demi-official letter, Definition Vocabulary (Administrative and Commercial), Computer Knowledge etc.
B) General Vocabulary: Duration of this section is 1/2 hour, it will have 5 questions of 60 marks. Questions in this section will be from Opposites, Sentence and Correction in framing, One word for several words, Same usage and same nature words etc.
C) Hindi Essay: This section will have three questions and duration of this section is 3 hours.In this section, you have to write Essay in given words Limit.
General Hindi: This Paper will have 2 sections:

Additional Paper For Samiksha Adhikari in Mains: There shall be the additional paper of Translation of qualifying nature in the main examination as per syllabi for the post of Samiksha Adhikari (Hindi) and Samiksha Adhikari (Urdu).The question papers shall be the conventional type whose duration shall be 3 hrs. and maximum marks 100. It shall be mandatory for such candidates to secure 33% marks i.e. 33 marks out of 100 marks.
