Dear Aspirants,
Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the notification regarding Combined Graduate Level Examination(Tier-II) 2017.
The Commission is conducting Combined Graduate Level Examination (Tier-II), 2017 from 17.2.2018 to 22.2.2018 for 1,89,843 candidates across the country.
The Commission received information at 1345 hours, today i.e. on 17.2.2018 that at one venue namely Animate Infotech, Mohan Cooperative Industrial Estate, New Delhi, that some candidates, after the completion of Paper-I (i.e. Quantitative Aptitude) had raised a noise that a chit of paper was found with some answers scribbled on it in the toilet of that venue. When the representative of the Commission moved in to ascertain the correct facts in the matter, his entry into the toilet was obstructed by some candidates who instead manhandled and beat him up and snatched his mobile.
The Commission immediately swung into action and established contact with the Police to ascertain the facts of the case. Prima-facie evidence clearly indicates that the entire episode was created by some unruly elements, with a malafide intention, to try to disrupt the examination.
The Commission has taken serious note of the incident and would take appropriate action in the matter. The examination of Shift-II of that venue had to be cancelled and the Commission would not conduct any re-examination for that Batch. In the meantime, based on video footage of the incident available with the Commission, stringent action will be taken against those candidates who were actively involved in disrupting the said examination.
Candidates are informed that they are to assign no credence to this incident. Examinations would be conducted by the Commission as per schedule on the remaining five days of the examination i.e. from 18.2.2018 to 22.2.2018, under enhanced security arrangements/police bandobust.
In the meantime, reports received by the Commission, on the completion of both batches of the examinations held on 17.2.2018, from across all 206 venues in 69 cities, indicate that the examinations have been conducted peacefully without any untoward incident at all other venues across the Country.
