- Reliance Industries Limited on signed two agreements with the state government, promising a total investment of Rs 52,000 crore in oil and gas and electronics sectors.
- The Memorandum of Understandings were a follow-up action to the meeting Reliance Industries Limited Chairman Mukesh Ambani had with Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu in Amaravati.
- Reliance will invest about Rs 37,000 crore in an oil and gas venture in AP and another Rs 15,000 crore in an electronics manufacturing plant near Tirupati. These ventures are expected to create 25,000 jobs over the next few years.
- The Andhra Pradesh government signed a total of 364 memoranda of understanding with various business establishments, including the likes of Reliance Industries Limited, that could result in an investment of Rs 2,18,814 crore and creation of 3,84,662 jobs.
- Reliance, in association with BP International, plans to develop offshore gas infrastructure in the Krishna-Godavari Basin in East Godavari district. Reliance is already into gas exploration from its D6 block in the KG Basin near Kakinada.
- Reliance Jio, on the other hand, will establish an electronics manufacturing park near Tirupati in Chittoor district to manufacture mobile phones and set-top boxes. The Indian industry major will set up the facility on a 150-acre site.
- As a pre-condition to setting up the electronics manufacturing park, Mukesh Ambani, during his meeting with the Chief Minister, wanted the state government to promote clusters of educational institutions like ITIs and diploma colleges in the vicinity to create employment right after education.
- These MoUs were signed in the ongoing three-day Partnership Summit at the Harbour Park in the state. The energy sector netted the highest investment proposals worth Rs 1,11,921 crore from 34 MoUs.
- About 22 MoUs were signed for an investment of Rs 39,281 crore in the industries, information technology and electronics sectors while 10 MoUs were signed for an investment of Rs 9,406 crore in the aerospace and defence sectors.
- On the second day (26 February) of the Summit, a total of 285 MoUs were signed that could fetch an investment of Rs 1,74,568 crore and provide employment opportunity to 2,86,371 persons.
- On the first day (25 February), 79 MoUs were signed to attract an investment of Rs 44,246 crore, including 15 MoUs in automotive sector for an investment of Rs 15,224 crore
Andhra Pradesh Govt Inks 364 MoUs, For Rs 2.18 Lakh Crore Investment
आंध्र प्रदेश सरकार ने 2.14 लाख करोड़ रुपये के निवेश के लिए 364 एमओयू पर हस्ताक्षर किये।
- रिलायंस इंडस्ट्रीज लिमिटेड ने राज्य सरकार के साथ दो समझौतों पर हस्ताक्षर किए और तेल ,गैस और इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स क्षेत्रों में कुल 52,000 करोड़ रुपये का निवेश करने का वादा किया।
- ज्ञापन रिलायंस इंडस्ट्रीज लिमिटेड के अध्यक्ष मुकेश अंबानी और मुख्यमंत्री एन चंद्राबाबू नायडू की अमरावती में बैठक के अनुवर्ती कार्रवाई है।
- रिलायंस एपी में तेल और गैस उद्यम में 37,000 करोड़ रुपये और तिरुपति के पास एक इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स विनिर्माण संयंत्र में 15,000 करोड़ रुपये का निवेश करेगी। अगले कुछ सालों में इन उद्यमों से 25,000 नौकरियां पैदा होने की संभावना है।

- रिलायंस, बीपी इंटरनेशनल के साथ, पूर्व गोदावरी जिले में कृष्णा-गोदावरी बेसिन में अपतटीय गैस के ढांचे को विकसित करने की योजना बना रही है। रिलायंस पहले से ही काकीनाडा के पास केजी बेसिन के डी 6 ब्लॉक में गैस की खोज में है।
- दूसरी तरफ, रिलायंस जियो, चित्तूर जिले के तिरुपति के पास मोबाइल फोन और सेट टॉप बॉक्स बनाने के लिए एक इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स विनिर्माण पार्क स्थापित करेगा। भारतीय उद्योग प्रमुख 150 एकड़ की साइट पर फैसिलिटी स्थापित करेगा।
- इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स विनिर्माण पार्क की स्थापना के लिए पूर्व शर्त के रूप में, मुकेश अंबानी, मुख्यमंत्री के साथ उनकी मुलाकात के दौरान, राज्य सरकार शिक्षा के बाद रोजगार के अवसर पैदा करने के लिए आसपास के क्षेत्र में आईटीआई और डिप्लोमा कॉलेज जैसे शैक्षिक संस्थानों के समूहों को बढ़ावा देना चाहते है।
- राज्य में हार्बर पार्क में चल रहे तीन दिवसीय भागीदारी शिखर सम्मेलन में इन समझौता ज्ञापनों पर हस्ताक्षर किए गए। ऊर्जा क्षेत्र ने 34 एमओयू से 1,11, 921 करोड़ रुपये के उच्चतम निवेश प्रस्तावों को हासिल किया।
- उद्योगों, सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी और इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स क्षेत्रों में 39,281 करोड़ रुपये के निवेश के लिए 22 समझौता ज्ञापनों पर हस्ताक्षर किए गए जबकि एरोस्पेस और रक्षा क्षेत्रों में 9,406 करोड़ रुपये के निवेश के लिए 10 एमओयू पर हस्ताक्षर किए गए थे।
- दुसरे दिन (26 फ़रवरी)शिखर सम्मेलन में, कुल 285 समझौता ज्ञापनों पर हस्ताक्षर किए गए जो 1,74,568 करोड़ रुपये के निवेश को प्राप्त कर सकेंगे और 2,86,371 लोगों को रोजगार के अवसर प्रदान कर सकेंगे।
