Reliance Jio Ranks 17th In Fast Company’s 50 Most Innovative
Companies List
- Reliance Jio Infocomm Ltd ranks 17th in American business magazine Fast Company’s annual ranking of the world’s “50 Most Innovative Companies” for 2018. Jio entered the telecom sector in September 2016.
- With this, the company joins the list of other leading global companies such as Netflix, Tencent, Amazon, The Washington Post, Marvel Studios, SpaceX, Spotify and Walmart.
- The list was curated from Fast Company’s Top 10 lists, which monitors companies across 36 categories.
फास्ट कंपनी की 50 सबसे अभिनव कंपनियों की सूची में रिलायंस जियो 17 वें स्थान पर है।
- रिलायंस जियो इन्फोकॉम लिमिटेड ने अमेरिका के बिजनेस मैगज़ीन फ़ास्ट कंपनी की 2018 में दुनिया की "50 सबसे अभिनव कंपनियों" की वार्षिक रैंकिंग में 17 वां स्थान दिया है। जियो ने सितंबर 2016 में दूरसंचार क्षेत्र में प्रवेश किया।
- इसके साथ ही, कंपनी अन्य प्रमुख वैश्विक कंपनियों जैसे कि नेटफ्लिक्स, टेनेंट, अमेज़ॅन, द वाशिंगटन पोस्ट, मार्वल स्टूडियो, स्पेसएक्स, स्पॉटिफ़ी और वॉलमार्ट की सूची में शामिल हो गई है।
- सूची फास्ट कंपनी की शीर्ष 10 सूचियों से बनाई गई थी, जो 36 श्रेणियों में कंपनियों की निगरानी करती है।
13 Digit Mobile Number Soon.
- The Department of Telecom (DoT) had reportedly issued a directive to all the telecom operators in India, asking them to start issuing 13-digit mobile numbers to customers.
- The existing mobile users’ numbers will be ported to 13-digits starting from October 1, 2018.
- The last date to complete the process would be December 31, 2018.
- 13-digit M2M (Machine-to-machine) numbering plan will be implemented from July 1, 2018.
- All new M2M mobile connections will be allocated 13-digit numbers only.
- Migration of existing 10-digit M2M numbers will start latest by 1 October 2018 and shall be completed by 31 December 2018.
- India will become the country with the longest mobile numbers, with China the only country at scale with 11 digit mobile numbers, not counting the area code. Apart from this, only French ‘regions’ of Gaudeloupe, Martinique and Reunion have longer numbers.
- Meanwhile, the Ministry of Communication in a letter written to TRAI has reportedly said that ’13-digit numbering scheme has been approved for SIM-based M2M devices’.
- A M2M sim is actually the technology which enables devices and sensors or things to communicate with each other and with other Internet-enabled devices and systems. These sims can be used in any mobile phone.

- मौजूदा 10 अंकों वाले एम 2 एम नंबर का प्रवास 1 अक्टूबर 2018 तक शुरू होगा और यह 31 दिसंबर 2018 तक पूरा हो जाएगा।

- Deputy chief minister Nitin Patel announced a budget of Rs1.83 lakh crore for Financial Year 2018-19.
- The budget size has gone up from Rs1.72 lakh crore in 2017-18 to Rs1.83 lakh crore in 2018-19.
- The education department has got the highest provision of Rs 27,500 crore.
- Science centres would be set up in five schools in each taluka, that is, in 1,250 schools, to nurture curiosity among school children.
- The budget provides Rs150 crore for providing tablets at a token rate of Rs 1,000 to college students.
- The budget had allocation of Rs 9,750 crore for health and family welfare department.
- Rs 6,755 crore is allocated for agriculture and farmer welfare.
- Rs 3,080 crore is allocated for nutrition and general well being of women and children.
- Rs 9,250 crore is allocated for roads and buildings.
- Rs 15,000 crore is allocated for Narmada, water resources water supply and Kalpasar. Of this, Rs 1,765 crore is for second phase of SAUNI scheme, Rs 1,074 crore for various lift irrigation schemes, and Rs 750 crore for drip irrigation.
- Rs 4,018 crore have been allocated for construction of Narmada canals, and Rs 1,295 crore for underground pipelines. Statue of Unity, the dream project of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has been allocated Rs 899 crore.
- The budget provides Rs 592 crore for Ahmedabad Metro project.
- Rs 100 crore for bio-mining projects at Pirana dumping site, Rs 25 crore for Gandhigram Railway underpass, and Rs 20 crore for renovation of Sanskar Kendra museum.
- The Mukhyamantri Apprenticeship Scheme will be started which provides additional financial incentive for one year to apprentices in factories, hotels, banks, financial services, etc.

- बजट में महाविद्यालय के विद्यार्थियों के लिए 1,000 रुपये की टोकन दर पर टेबलेट् प्रदान करने के लिए बजट में 1 करोड़ रुपये का प्रावधान है।
- बजट में स्वास्थ्य और परिवार कल्याण विभाग के लिए 9,750 करोड़ रुपये आवंटित किए गए है।
- कृषि और किसान कल्याण के लिए 6,755 करोड़ रुपये आवंटित किए गए हैं।
- 3,080 करोड़ रुपये पोषण और महिलाओं और बच्चों के सामान्य स्वास्थ्य के लिए आवंटित किया गया है।
- सड़कों और इमारतों के लिए 9,250 करोड़ रुपये आवंटित किए गए हैं।
- नर्मदा, जल संसाधन जल आपूर्ति और कल्पसार के लिए 15,000 करोड़ रुपये आवंटित किए गए हैं। इनमें से 1765 करोड़ रूपए सौनि के दूसरे चरण के लिए, विभिन्न लिफ्ट सिंचाई योजनाओं के लिए 1,074 करोड़ रूपए और ड्रिप सिंचाई के लिए 750 करोड़ रुपए हैं।
- नर्मदा नहरों के निर्माण के लिए 4,018 करोड़ रुपये आवंटित किए गए हैं और भूमिगत पाइपलाइनों के लिए 1,295 करोड़ रुपये का आवंटन किया गया है। एकता की प्रतिमा, प्रधान मंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी की स्वप्न परियोजना को 899 करोड़ रुपये आवंटित किए गए हैं।
- अहमदाबाद मेट्रो परियोजना के लिए बजट में 592 करोड़ रुपये का प्रावधान है।
- पिराना डंपिंग स्थल पर जैव खनन परियोजनाओं के लिए 100 करोड़ रुपये, गांधीग्राम रेलवे अंडरपास के लिए 25 करोड़ रुपये और संस्कार केन्द्र संग्रहालय के नवीकरण के लिए 20 करोड़ रुपये।
- मुख्यमंत्री अपरेंटिसशिप योजना शुरू की जाएगी, जो कारखाने, होटलों, बैंकों, वित्तीय सेवाओं आदि में शिक्षुओं को एक वर्ष के लिए अतिरिक्त वित्तीय प्रोत्साहन प्रदान करेगी।
