Huawei And Airtel Conduct First Ever 5G Trial In India
- China's leading smartphone maker Huawei has joined hands with telecom major to announce a successful testing of 5G network trial under a test set-up in India. The trial was conducted at Airtel's Network Experience Centre in Manesar in Gurugram.
- During the test trial, a user throughput of more than 3 Gbps was achieved using the setup. This is the highest measured throughput for a mobile network in 3.5 GHz band with 100MHz bandwidth and end-to-end network latency of approximately 1 msec.
- The test setup demonstrated high-spectral efficiency and potential for diversified services such as Internet of Things (IoT) and Augmented Reality/Virtual Reality (AR/VR) that can be delivered by 5G technology to serve a digitally connected world.
- Airtel has also partnered with Ericsson for deploying 5G technology in India. Under the partnership, Ericsson will work with Airtel to create a strategic roadmap to help the telco upgrade its network to next-gen's 5G network. Apart from Ericsson and Huawei, Airtel has also partnered with Nokia for 5G technology.
- With 5G services, Airtel aims to take on Jio that has already stirred the 4G market and is in talks with Samsung to roll out 5G services in India.

- परीक्षण के दौरान, सेटअप का उपयोग करके 3 जीबीपीएस से अधिक का उपयोगकर्ता थ्रूपुट हासिल किया गया था। यह 3.5 एमएचजेड बैंड में एक मोबाइल नेटवर्क के लिए 100 एमएचजेड बैंडविड्थ और लगभग 1 मिसेक के एंड-टू-एंड नेटवर्क विलंबता के साथ उच्चतम मापा गया थ्रूपुट है।
- परीक्षण सेटअप ने उच्च-वर्णक्रमीय दक्षता और चीजों के इंटरनेट (आईओटी) और संवर्धित वास्तविकता / आभासी वास्तविकता (एआर / वीआर) जैसी विविध सेवाओं के लिए क्षमता प्रदर्शित की है, जो डिजिटल रूप से जुड़ी दुनिया की सेवा के लिए 5 जी तकनीक द्वारा वितरित की जा सकती है।
- एयरटेल ने भारत में 5 जी प्रौद्योगिकी की तैनाती के लिए एरिक्सन के साथ भी भागीदारी की है। साझेदारी के तहत, एरिक्सन, एयरटेल के साथ मिलकर एक रणनीतिक योजना बनाने के लिए काम करेगी ताकि टेलको अगली पीढ़ी के 5 जी नेटवर्क पर अपने नेटवर्क को अपग्रेड कर सके। एरिक्सन और हूवेई के अलावा, एयरटेल ने 5 जी तकनीक के लिए नोकिया के साथ भी भागीदारी की है।

RBI Launches Ombudsman Scheme For NBFCs
- The Reserve Bank of India has launched 'Ombudsman Scheme' for non-banking financial companies (NBFC).
- The scheme will provide a cost-free and expeditious complaint redressal mechanism relating to deficiency in the services by NBFCs.
- The offices of the NBFC ombudsmen will function at four metro centres -- Chennai, Kolkata, Mumbai and New Delhi.
- They will handle complaints of customers in the respective zones.
गैर-बैकिंग वित्तीय कंपनियों के लिए लोकपाल योजना
- भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक ने गैर-बैंकिंग वित्तीय कंपनियों (एनबीएफसी) के लिए लोकपाल योजना पेश की।
- केंद्रीय बैंक ने कहा कि यह व्यवस्था एनबीएफसी की सेवाओं में कमी से जुड़ी शिकायतों के तेज और शुल्क मुक्त निवारण की सुविधा उपलब्ध कराएगी।
- एनबीएफसी लोकपाल के कार्यालय दिल्ली, कोलकाता, चेन्नई और मुंबई महानगरों में कार्य करेंगे। यह कार्यालय संबंधित परिक्षेत्रों के ग्राहकों की शिकायतों पर विचार करेंगे।
India, Canada Ink Six Pacts
- India and Canada signed six agreements, including in the area of nuclear science, energy cooperation and information communication technology.
- A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between Indias Department of Atomic Energy and the Department of Natural Resources of Canada for co-operation in the fields of science, technology and innovation.
- India and Canada have already signed an agreement on peaceful use of nuclear energy.
- To step up cooperation in the field of energy, terms of reference for the India-Canada Ministerial Energy Dialogue were exchanged between the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas and the Department of Natural Resources of Canada.
- A joint declaration of intent between the Ministry of Electronics And Information Technology and the Department of Innovation, Science and Economic Development of Canada on cooperation in the field of Information Communications Technology and Electronics was also signed.
भारत, कनाडा के बीच छह समझौते
- भारत और कनाडा के बीच परमाणु विज्ञान, ऊर्जा सहयोग और सूचना संचार प्रौद्यागिकी क्षेत्र समेत छह समझौतों पर हस्ताक्षर किए गए।
- भारतीय परमाणु ऊर्जा विभाग और कनाडा के प्राकृतिक स्रोत विभाग के बीच विज्ञान, तकनीक एवं नवोन्मेष क्षेत्र में सहयोग के लिए एक सहमति ज्ञापन पत्र पर हस्ताक्षर किए गए।
- दोनों देश परमाणु ऊर्जा के शांतिपूर्ण उपयोग को लेकर पहले ही समझौता कर चुके हैं।
- इसके अलावा ऊर्जा क्षेत्र में सहयोग के लिए पेट्रोलियम एवं प्राकृतिक गैस मंत्रालय और कनाडा के प्राकृतिक स्रोत विभाग के बीच भारत-कनाडा मंत्रालयी ऊर्जा संवाद का आदान प्रदान हुआ।
- सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी एवं इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स क्षेत्र में सहयोग के लिए कनाडा के नवोन्मेष, विज्ञान और आर्थिक विकास विभाग एवं इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स एवं सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी मंत्रालय के बीच भी समझौता हुआ है।
