- According to the report, among the 17 states which recorded substantial drop of 10 points or more, in Gujarat the SRB fell to 854 females from 907 females per 1,000 males born registering a drop of 53 points from 2012-14 (base year) to 2013-15 (reference year) in this indicator.
- Gujarat is followed by Haryana, which registered a drop of 35 points, Rajasthan (32 points), Uttarakhand (27 points), Maharashtra (18 points), Himachal Pradesh (14 points), Chhattisgarh (drop of 12 points), and Karnataka (11 points), the 'Healthy States, Progressive India' report states.
- According to the report, improvement in SRB was witnessed in Punjab, which registered a rise of 19 points, followed by Uttar Pradesh (10 points) and Bihar (9 points).

- रिपोर्ट के अनुसार, 17 राज्यों में जहां 10 अंकों की अधिक गिरावट दर्ज की गई, गुजरात में एसआरबी की संख्या गिरकर 854 हो गई, जो प्रति 1,000 पुरुषों में 907 महिलाओं की है, जो 2012-2014 (आधार वर्ष) से 2013-2015 तक 53 अंकों की गिरावट दर्ज की है।
- 'स्वस्थ राज्य, प्रगतिशील भारत' रिपोर्ट के अनुसार गुजरात के बाद हरियाणा ने 35 अंकों की , राजस्थान (32 अंक), उत्तराखंड (27 अंक), महाराष्ट्र (18 अंक), हिमाचल प्रदेश (14 अंक), छत्तीसगढ़ (12 अंक की गिरावट) और कर्नाटक ने 11 अंक की गिरावट दर्ज की ।
- रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक, एसआरबी में सुधार पंजाब में देखा गया, जिसमें 19 अंक, उसके बाद उत्तर प्रदेश (10 अंक) और बिहार (9 अंक) का उछाल दर्ज किया गया ।

Rs 7,000 crore: Bengaluru Budget

7,000 करोड़ रुपये: बेंगलुरु बजट
- प्रदूषित बेलंदूर झील को 50 करोड़ रुपये की लागत से पुनर्जीवित किया जाएगा।
- सरकार का उद्देश्य ठोस अपशिष्ट समस्या को सुलझाने और बिजली उत्पन्न करना भी है।
- राज्य सरकार 5 करोड़ रुपये की लागत से साइबर फॉरेंसिक लैबोरेटरीज स्थापित करेगी।
- श्री सिद्धारामाय ने घोषणा की कि कोरमंगला में बहु मंजिला पार्किंग की सुविधा होगी।
- बजट में दोहराया गया है कि नम्मा मेट्रो के चरण 2, जो कि 72 किमी है, मार्च 2021 तक जनता के लिए खोला जायेगा।
- कोलार जिले में रेल कोच फैक्ट्री की स्थापना शुरू करने का कार्य होगा।

- शहरों के बीच चलने के लिए कर्नाटक राज्य सड़क परिवहन निगम (केएसआरटीसी) के माध्यम से 10 डबल डेकर बसें खरीदेगी।
- कौशल विकास योजना के तहत 13,000 युवाओं को ड्राइविंग और बस मरम्मत में प्रशिक्षण दिया जाएगा।
- निर्भया योजना के तहत 1000 बीएमटीसी बसों में सीसीटीवी कैमरे स्थापित किए जाएंगे।
