- Manipur's health and family welfare minister L. Jayantakumar Singh launched a statewide measles-rubella vaccination campaign during a programme on the premises of Ibotonsana Girls' Higher Secondary School. The Centre launched a nationwide campaign - with the support of WHO - which is one of the world's largest vaccination campaigns against measles-rubella.
- Measles claimed lives of four children at Phoklong village in Tamenglong district since February. There were about 60 measles-infected patients in the village when the children died. The state's medical teams rushed to villages in Tamenglong district at different phases to vaccinate children. Another medical team reached Phoklong village.

- फरवरी से तामेंगलॉन्ग जिले के फोकलांग गांव में चार बच्चों की मौत का दावा किया गया। गांव में लगभग 60 खसरा-संक्रमित बच्चों की मृत्यु हो गई। बच्चों के टीकाकरण के लिए राज्य के चिकित्सा दल विभिन्न चरणों में तामेंगलॉन्ग जिले के गांवों में गए हैं। एक अन्य मेडिकल टीम फोकलग गांव पहुंची है। नामटीराम गांव तामेंगलॉन्ग शहर से 4km पर है, लेकिन ख़राब सड़क की वजह से एक कार में वहाँ तक पहुँचने के लिए डेढ़ घंटे लगते हैं।
Foxconn Unit Buys Belkin For $886 Million
- FIT Hon Teng Ltd, part of the contract manufacturing giant Foxconn Technology Group, agreed to buy Belkin International Inc. in the latest move by billionaire Terry Gou to expand in branded goods.
- FIT will pay $886 million in cash for Belkin, a maker of Wi-Fi routers, mobile device chargers and keyboards. The deal will give it access to strong research and development capacity with Belkin owning more than 700 patents.
