Virat Kohli's Wax Figure To Grace Madame Tussauds Delhi
- Indian captain Virat Kohli's wax figure will be the latest addition at the Madame Tussauds Delhi as he is set to join other sports icons there.
- Kohli's wax figure will join other sports heroes including Sachin Tendulkar, Kapil Dev and Lionel Messi.
- Kohli's journey has been phenomenal, from his first-class debut in 2006 to captaining the Indian cricket team, winning the Under-19 World Cup on route.
- With his unbeatable performances, Kohli has won several accolades including the Arjuna award, ICC World Cricketer of the year and three BCCI international cricketer of the year awards. He has also been honoured with the Padma Shri by the Government of of India.

- भारतीय कप्तान विराट कोहली की मोम की प्रतिमा दिल्ली मैडम तुसाद म्युजियम की शोभा बढायेगी।
- इससे पहले सचिन तेंदुलकर, कपिल देव और लियोनेल मेस्सी की प्रतिमायें पहले ही से संग्रहालय में है।
- 2006 में प्रथम श्रेणी क्रिकेट में पदार्पण से अंडर 19 विश्व कप में जीत और भारतीय क्रिकेट टीम का कप्तान बनने तक कोहली का सफर सुनहरा रहा है । उन्हें अर्जुन पुरस्कार, आईसीसी वर्ष के सर्वश्रेष्ठ क्रिकेटर का पुरस्कार और बीसीसीआइ्र के सर्वश्रेष्ठ अंतरराष्ट्रीय क्रिकेटर के तीन पुरस्कार मिल चुके हैं । भारत सरकार ने उन्हें पद्मश्री से नवाजा है ।
Department of Posts launches Cool EMS Service between India and Japan
- Ministry of Communications has launched the Cool EMS Service which will come into force from 29.03.2018. Cool EMS service is one-way service from Japan to India which allows customers in India to import Japanese food items for personal use which is allowed under Indian regulations.
- Initially, Cool EMS Service will be available in Delhi only. Food items will be carried by Japan Post in special cool boxes containing refrigerant to preserve the quality of the food items and addressee will collect them from Foreign Post office, Kotla Road, New Delhi in-person or through a messenger in the prescribed time frame.
- All other features like track and trace, etc of Express Mail Service (EMS) will be available for Cool EMS service as well.
डाक विभाग ने भारत और जापान के बीच ‘कूल ईएमएस’ सेवा शुरू की
- संचार मंत्रालय ने ‘कूल ईएमएस सेवा’ शुरू की है, जो 29.03.2018 से लागू होगी। ‘कूल ईएमएस सेवा’ जापान और भारत के बीच एकमात्र ऐसी सेवा है जो भारत में ग्राहकों के व्यक्तिगत उपयोग के लिए जापानी खाद्य पदार्थों का आयात करेगी और भारतीय नियमों के तहत इसकी अनुमति दी गई है।
- शुरूआत में, कूल ईएमएस सेवा केवल दिल्ली में उपलब्ध होगी। खाद्य पदार्थों को जापान के डाक विभाग द्वारा विशेष रूप से तैयार ठंडे बक्सों में लाया जाएगा, जिसमें खाद्य पदार्थों की गुणवत्ता को बरकरार रखने के लिए रेफ्रिजरेंट होते हैं। इन्हें विदेश डाकघर, कोटला रोड, नई दिल्ली लाया जाएगा जहां से निर्धारित समय सीमा के भीतर एक व्यक्ति के माध्यम से भेजा जाएगा।
- एक्सप्रेस मेल सेवा (ईएमएस) की ट्रैक और ट्रेस जैसी अन्य सभी सुविधाएं भी कूल ईएमएस सेवा के लिए उपलब्ध होगी।
Rs 350 coin to mark birth anniversary of Guru Gobind Singh
- The Government will release a Rs 350 commemorative coin to mark 350th birth anniversary of Guru Gobind Singh, the 10th and last Sikh Guru.
- "The Rs 350 coin shall be coined at the Mint for issue under the authority of the Central Government to commemorate the occasion of 350th birth anniversary of Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji," said the finance ministry in a notification.
- The coin with standard weight of 35 gram will have 50 per cent silver, 40 per cent copper and 5 per cent each of nickel and zinc.
- The obverse will bear the rupee symbol and denominational value '350' in international numerals below the Lion Capital.
- The reverse side will bear the picture of "Takht Shri Harimandir Ji Patna Sahib" in the centre.
- The years '1666' and '2016' in international numerals will be on the left and right periphery of the coin.
गुरु गोविंद सिंह जयंती पर 350 रुपये का विशेष सिक्का जारी करेगा रिजर्व बैंक
- सिखों के दसवें गुरु, गुरु गोविंद सिंह की 350 वीं जयंती पर सरकार 350 रुपये का स्मृति सिक्का जारी करेगी।
- वित्त मंत्रालय की अधिसूचना में कहा गया है कि श्री गुरु गोविंद सिंह जी की350 वीं जयंतीके अवसर पर केन्द्र सरकार की अनुमति से मिंट से 350 रुपये का सिक्का जारी किया जायेगा।
- इस सिक्के का वजन 35 ग्राम का होगा। इसमें 50 प्रतिशत चांदी, 40 प्रतिशत तांबा और पांच- पांच प्रतिशत निकल और जस्ता होगा।
- सिक्के के अभिमुख पर रुपये का चिह्न तथा अशोक स्तंभ के नीचे अंतरराष्ट्रीय नंबर में 350 अंकित होगा। सिक्के के पीछे की ओर बीच में ‘तख्त श्री हरमंदिर जी पटना साहिब की तस्वीर’ होगी।’’
- सिक्के की दाईं-बाईं ब्राह्यपट्टी पर एक तरफ वर्ष1666 और दूसरी तरफ 2016 लिखा होगा।
Indu Bhushan appointed CEO of 'Ayushman Bharat' mission
- Indu Bhushan has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Centre's ambitious Ayushman Bharat National Health Protection Mission (ABNHPM).
- Bhushan, the Director General of East Asia Department, Asian Development Bank (ADB) in Manila, Philippines, has been appointed to the post for a period of two years, an order issued by the personnel ministry said.
- The Union cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi had approved the launch of the Ayushman Bharat mission.
- The scheme has the benefit cover of Rs 5 lakh per family per year.
इंदू भूषण होंगे आयुष्मान भारत मिशन के सीईओ
- केंद्र की महत्वाकांक्षी योजना आयुष्मान भारत राष्ट्रीय स्वास्थ्य संरक्षण मिशन( एबीएनएचपीएम) केलिए इंदू भूषण को मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी( सीईओ) नियुक्त किया गया।
- कार्मिक मंत्रालय की ओर से जारी आदेश के मुताबिक, फिलीपीन के मनीला में‘एशियन डेवलपमेंट बैंक’ (एडीबी) के पूर्वी एशिया विभाग में महानिदेशक भूषण को एबीएनएचपीएम केसीईओ के पद पर दो साल के लिए नियुक्त किया गया है।
- प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी की अध्यक्षता वाले केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडल ने आयुष्मान भारत मिशन को शुरू करने को मंजूरी दी थी।
- योजना के तहत प्रत्येक परिवार को हर साल पांच लाख रुपये कालाभ कवर दिया जाएगा।
