Commonwealth Games: Jitu won gold, Om won bronze medal in 10 meter air pistol event
Indian shooter Jitu Rai and Om Prakash Mitharwal won gold and bronze medals respectively in the 10m Air Pistol event at the 21st Commonwealth Games. Jitu also made the Commonwealth Games record with 235.1 points while Mitharwal got 214.3 points. India now has 15 medals including 8 gold, 3 silver and 4 bronze.

भारतीय निशानेबाज़ जीतू राय और ओम प्रकाश मिथरवाल ने 21वें कॉमनवेल्थ गेम्स में 10 मीटर एयर पिस्टल स्पर्धा में क्रमश: स्वर्ण और कांस्य पदक जीता। जीतू ने 235.1 अंकों के साथ कॉमनवेल्थ गेम्स रिकॉर्ड भी बनाया जबकि मिथरवाल को 214.3 अंक मिले। भारत के अब 8 स्वर्ण, 3 रजत और 4 कांस्य समेत 15 पदक हो गए हैं।
