Film director C.V. Rajendran died
Film director CV Rajendran died at a hospital in Chennai after a prolonged illness. The 81-year-old had worked in the Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi film industries for nearly three decades.
He directed some 78 films. He was part of ace director C.V. Sridhar’s unit and directed many memorable movies. These include Galatta Kalyanam, Sumathi En Sundari and Ponnunjal. He did Sivakamiyin Selvan, a remake of the Hindi hit Aradhana..
