MoU Between Indian Army and Axis Bank
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Indian Army and Axis Bank on the Defence Salary Package. The first MoU between Axis Bank and the Indian Army was signed in 2011 and was renewed on 24 Mar 2015. The current MoU is tailor-made to suit the requirements of serving soldiers, pensioners and families.
Under the current MoU, apart from other benefits, the Army personnel will get free personal accident death cover and free permanent total disability cover of Rs 30 lakh and free educational cover of up to Rs 2 Lakh for children between the age of 12 and 20 years
भारतीय सेना और एक्सिस बैंक के बीच समझौता ज्ञापन
रक्षा वेतन पैकेज पर भारतीय सेना और एक्सिस बैंक के बीच एक समझौता ज्ञापन पर हस्ताक्षर किए गए। एक्सिस बैंक और भारतीय सेना के बीच पहले समझौता ज्ञापन पर हस्ताक्षर 2011 में किए गए थे और 24 मार्च 2015 को इसे नवीनीकृत किया गया था। वर्तमान एमओयू सैनिकों, पेंशनरों और परिवारों की सेवा की आवश्यकताओं के अनुरूप बनाया गया है।
वर्तमान एमओयू के तहत, अन्य लाभों के अलावा, सेना के कर्मियों को मुफ्त व्यक्तिगत दुर्घटना मृत्यु कवर और 30 लाख रुपये की स्थायी विकलांगता कवर और 12 से 20 वर्ष की आयु के बच्चों के लिए 2 लाख रुपये तक का मुफ्त शैक्षिक कवर मिलेगा ।
First health centre under Ayushman Bharat scheme inaugurated
Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the first health centre under Ayushman Bharat scheme at Bijapur, a tribal district located in Chattisgarh. He also inaugurated Bastar Internet plan. Under its first phase, 40,000 km network of fibre optic cable will be laid in seven districts of the tribal area. Along with this, he has also inaugurated a new railway line between Gudum and Bhanupratappur.
आयुष्मान भारत योजना के तहत पहले स्वास्थ्य केंद्र का उद्घाटन हुआ
प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने छत्तीसगढ़ के आदिवासी जिले बीजापुर में आयुष्मान भारत योजना के तहत पहले स्वास्थ्य केंद्र का उद्घाटन किया. उन्होंने बस्तर इंटरनेट योजना के पहले चरण का भी शुभारंभ किया जिसके तहत आदिवासी क्षेत्र के सात जिलों में फाइबर ऑप्टिक्स केबल के 40,000 किलोमीटर लंबे नेटवर्क को बिछाया जाएगा. इसके साथ ही उन्होंने गुदुम और भानुप्रतापपुर के बीच एक नई रेल लाइन का भी उद्घाटन किया है.

Neeraj Chopra has become the first-ever Indian to win gold in javelin throw at the Commonwealth Games. The 20-year-old junior world record holder hurled the javelin to a distance of 86.47m to bag India's 21st gold at the Commonwealth Games 2018. The medal was India's first gold and overall third in athletics at CWG 2018.

Mary Kom becomes 1st Indian woman to win boxing gold at CWG
Five-time world champion and Olympic bronze medallist MC Mary Kom has become the first Indian woman boxer to win a gold medal at the Commonwealth Games. Mary Kom achieved the feat after defeating Northern Ireland's Kristina O'Hara in the 45-48kg category final at Australia. The 35-year-old boxer from Manipur is participating in her maiden Commonwealth Games.
