Cabinet reshuffle
Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore assigned independent charge as Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting in place of Smriti Irani who retains textiles Ministry.
The portfolios of Minister of Finance and Minister of Corporate Affairs have been temporarily assigned to Piyush Goyal, in addition to his existing portfolios i.e. Minister of Railways & Coal.
S.S. Ahluwalia, Minister of State has been relieved of the charge of Ministry of Drinking Water & Sanitation and assigned the portfolio of Minister of State in the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology.
Alphons Joseph Kannanthanam, has been relieved of the charge of Minister of State in the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology.
मंत्रिमंडल फेरबदल
राज्यवर्धन राठौर को सूचना एवं प्रसारण मंत्रालय का स्वतंत्र प्रभार दिया गया है। स्मृति ईरानी के पास कपड़ा मंत्रालय रहेगा।
वित्त मंत्रालय और कॉर्पोरेट मामले मंत्रालय, अस्थायी रूप से वर्तमान रेलवे और कोयला मंत्री पीयूष गोयल को सौंपा गया है।
एस. एस. आहलुवालिया को पेयजल व स्वच्छता राज्यमंत्री के प्रभार से हटाकर इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स व सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी राज्यमंत्री बनाया गया है।
अल्फोस जोसेफ कन्नंथानम को इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स व सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी राज्यमंत्री के प्रभार से मुक्त कर दिया गया है।
