1. According to Global Innovation Index (GII) 2018, China broke into the world's top 20 most-innovative economies. Switzerland has topped this list while India is at 57th place in the list. This annual ranking has been published by Cornell University, INSEAD and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).
वैश्विक नवाचार सूचकांक (जीआईआई) 2018 के अनुसार, चीन दुनिया के शीर्ष 20 सर्वाधिक नवोन्मेषी अर्थव्यवस्थाओं में शामिल हो गया है। स्विटजरलैंड इस सूची में शीर्ष स्थान पर है वहीं भारत 57वें स्थान पर है। यह सालाना रैकिंग कॉर्नेल विश्वविद्यालय, आईएनएसईएडी और विश्व बौद्धिक संपदा संगठन (डब्ल्यूआईपीओ) द्वारा प्रकाशित की गई।
2. Andhra Pradesh has topped the ease of doing annual business ranking of states and Union Territories by the World Bank and Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP). Telangana and Haryana are at the second and third positions, respectively in the rankings.

3. The market capitalisation of the listed firms of Deepak Parekh-led financial services conglomerate HDFC group crossed Rs 10 lakh crore mark. It is only the second Indian business group to achieve this feat after Tata Group.

5. Indian naval ship INS Sumitra became the first-ever warship to enter port of Sabang in Indonesia.

9. According to property consultant CBRE, New Delhi’s Connaught Place has moved one position higher to become ninth most expensive office location in the world with an annual rent of $153 (Rs 10, 512 approx.) per sq. ft.
