The government has doubled the overdraft cap from ₹5,000 to ₹10,000 under the Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana. The scheme, which earlier aimed to provide a bank account to every Indian household, will now provide a bank account to every individual. The age limit for availing overdraft has been increased to 65 years.

जन-धन योजना के तहत खोले गए खातों में ओवरड्राफ्ट की सीमा मौजूदा ₹5,000 से बढ़ाकर ₹10,000 कर दी गई है। उन्होंने बताया कि विश्व बैंक द्वारा दुनिया की सबसे बड़ी वित्तीय समावेशन योजना के अंतर्गत पिछले 4 वर्षों में 32.41 करोड़ बैंक खाते खोले गए जिनमें 53% खाताधारक सिर्फ महिलाएं हैं।

Twitter's Country Director for India, Taranjeet Singh announced his resignation, nearly 16 months after he was promoted to the position. Singh, who worked for four years at Twitter, had earlier worked with BBC, Outlook magazine and Pioneer newspaper. Twitter's global head of revenue strategy and operations, Balaji Krish, will take over as the interim country lead.

Saurabh Chaudhary clinches gold in ISSF Shooting World Championship
Asian Games 2018 gold medallist Saurabh Chaudhary continued his brilliant run of form as he clinched the 10m Air Pistol Junior gold at the ISSF Shooting World Championship in Changwon.
The 16-year-old, who had qualified for the finals in third position with a score of 581, produced an impressive show in the final to clinch the gold with a new junior world record. The youngster couldn’t manage a 10 on his final shot but he comfortably broke the record with a total score of 245.5.
Arjun Singh Cheema claimed bronze in the same event with a score of 218 while Korea’s Hojin Lim clinched silver.
निशानेबाजी विश्व कप : सौरभ को नए जूनियर विश्व रिकॉर्ड के साथ स्वर्ण
18वें एशियाई खेलों में चैम्पियन बनकर निकले भारत के किशोर निशानेबाज सौरभ चौधरी ने एक और उपलब्धि अपने नाम की है। सौरभ ने दक्षिण कोरिया में जारी 52वें आईएसएसएफ निशानेबाजी विश्व कप टूर्नामेंट में पुरुषों की जूनियर 10 मीटर एयर पिस्टल स्पर्धा का स्वर्ण पदक अपने नाम किया है।
स्वर्ण पदक जीतने के साथ ही सौरभ ने इस स्पर्धा में नया जूनियर विश्व रिकॉर्ड भी कायम किया है। उन्होंने कुल 245.5 अंक हासिल कर सोना जीता।
इसके अलावा, इस स्पर्धा का कांस्य पदक भारत के एक अन्य किशोर निशानेबाज अर्जुन सिंह चीमा को हासिल हुआ है। उन्हें 218.0 अंकों के साथ तीसरा स्थान मिला।
दक्षिण कोरिया के निशानेबाज लिम होजिन ने 243.1 अंक हासिल कर दूसरा स्थान प्राप्त किया और रजत पदक पर कब्जा जमाया।
Former world half marathon champion Paul Koech dies at 49
Paul Koech, a former world half-marathon champion and long-time teammate of Kenyan great Paul Tergat, has died. He was 49.
Koech won the world half-marathon championship in Zurich in 1998. At the 1996 Atlanta OIympics, he finished sixth in the 10 000 metres and the following year was fourth at the world championships. Tergat won silver in both of those races.
In 1997, Koech ran the third-fastest 10 000 in history, finishing second behind Tergat as his friend broke the world record in the event.
पूर्व विश्व हॉफ मैराथन चैम्पियन पॉल का निधन
पूर्व विश्व हॉफ मैराथन चैम्पियन और केन्या के दिग्गज पॉल टेरगट के साथी पॉल कोएच का निधन हो गया। वह 49 वर्ष के थे।
कोएच ने 1998 में ज्यूरिख ने विश्व हॉफ मैराथन जीती थी। इसके अलावा, उन्होंने 1997 में 10,000 मीटर में सबसे तेजी से दौड़ने वाले तीसरे एथलीट बने थे। उन्हें रजत पदक हासिल हुआ था।
वह केन्या की एथलेटिक्स महासंघ की कार्यकारी समिति के सदस्य भी थे।

Divyansh-Shreya take bronze at Shooting World Cup
Indias 10m air rifle mixed the junior pair of Divyansh Singh Panwar and Shreya Agrawal grabbed the bronze medal at the 52nd ISSF World Championships.
Divyansh, 15, and Shreya, 17, finished third with the score of 435 points. The gold medal went to Italians Marco Suppini and Sofia Benetti, who created a world record with a score of 499.0 points.
Iran's Sadeghian Armina and Amir Mohammad Nekounam took the silver medal with 497.7 points. China and Denmark finished fourth and fifth respectively.

भारतीय किशोर निशानेबाजों दिव्यांश सिंह पंवार और श्रेया अग्रवाल ने 10 मीटर एयर पिस्टल मिश्रित जूनियर स्पर्धा का कांस्य पदक अपने नाम किया है। दोनों ने चांगवान में आयोजित आईएसएसएफ विश्व चैम्पियनशिप में यह उपलब्धि हासिल की।
भारत के 15 वर्षीय दिव्यांश और 17 वर्षीया श्रेया ने इस स्पर्धा के फाइनल में 435 अंकों के साथ तीसरा स्थान हासिल किया। इस स्पर्धा का स्वर्ण पदक इटली के मार्को सुपीनी और सोफिया बेनेती को मिला। उन्होंने कुल 499.0 अंक हासिल किए। उन्होंने विश्व रिकॉर्ड हासिल किया।
इसके अलावा, ईरान की सादेगहियान अर्मीना और अमीर मोहम्मद नेकेोउनाम ने 497.7 अंकों के साथ रजत पदक पर कब्जा जमाया। इस चैम्पियनशिप में भारतीय निशानेबाज अंजुम मोदगिल ने महिलाओं की 10 मीटर एयर राइफल स्पर्धा में रजत पदक जीतने के साथ टोक्यो ओलम्पिक का टिकट हासिल किया। भारत के ओम प्रकाश मिथरवाल ने पुरुषों की 50 मीटर पिस्टल स्पर्धा में स्वर्ण पदक जीता।
