Q.1. What is the starting/closing date for the application for IBPS Clerk 2019-20?
Ans: The starting date for filling online application for IBPS Clerk 2019 -20 is 18.09.2018 and the last date is 10.10.2018.
All the aspirants can fill their online applications through the official website of IBPS – i.e. ibps.in.
Q.2. What are the dates of the examination?
Ans: The examination will be conducted in two stages i.e. Prelims and Mains exam and the tentative dates of the exam are as follows-
Prelims: 08.12.2018, 09.12.2018, 15.12.2018 & 16.12.2018
Mains: 20.01.2019
Q.3. What is the application fee for the exam?
Ans: For SC/STIPWD/EX·SER: RS.100/.
Other than SC/STIPWD/EX·SER: RS.600/·
Q.4. What is the Educational eligibility criteria for this post?
Ans: A candidate should have completed his graduation in any discipline from a University recognised by the Govt. Of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government to be eligible for the post.
Computer Literacy: Operating and working knowledge in computer systems is mandatory i.e. candidates should have Certificate/Diploma/Degree in computer operations/Language/ should have studied Computer /Information Technology as one of the subjects in the High School/College/Institute.
Proficiency in the Official Language of the State/UT (candidates should know how to read/ write and speak the Official Language of the State/UT) for which vacancies a candidate wishes to apply is preferable.
Q.5. What is the age limit for IBPS Clerk 2019-20?
Ans: Age (As on 01.09.2018):
Minimum: 20 years Maximum: 28 years
i.e. A candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.09.1990 and not later than 01.09.1998 (both dates inclusive)
Q.6. Is there any percentage criteria in the educational qualification?
Ans: As per the notification you should just be a graduate, so there is no percentage criteria.
Q. 7. How many Stages will there in the selection procedure?
Ans: The selection process will consist of Preliminary & Main Examination. The students qualifying Preliminary exam will be called for Main Examination and the students qualifying the Main examination according to the cutoffs will get the provisional allotment.
Q.10. What will be the Exam Pattern For Preliminary & Mains Examination?
Ans: Tier I: Preliminary Examination: The Preliminary Examination (Online Objective Test) for 100 marks, would be of one-hour duration and will consist of 3 sections as follows:

Q.11. Is there any penalty for incorrect answer?
Ans: Yes, for each incorrect answer there will be ¼ of the marks assigned to that Question will be deducted as penalty.
Q12. What documents are needed to be uploaded by me while filling the form?
Ans: All the candidates are required to upload their signature, Photograph, left thumb impression and a handwritten declaration.
Q13. What is the text for declaration that I have to upload while filling the form?
Ans: The text for the hand written declaration is as follows –
“I, _______ (Name of the candidate), hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required.”
