Introduction
UPTET (Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test) is an annually held State level recruitment examination conducted by UPBEB (Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board). UPTET is conducted to recruit teachers at various public schools in the state of Uttar Pradesh. This exam is a rite of passage for all the candidates who wish to apply for the posts of primary (Class I to Class V) as well as secondary school (Class VI to Class VIII) teachers in Uttar Pradesh. UPTET 2018 is mandatory for those candidates that want their career as teachers in the state of Uttar Pradesh. UPTET 2018 application forms are expected to release in October 2018.

To apply for UPTET 2018, you need to have minimum age 18 years. There is no maximum age limit for UPTET 2018.
Selection Process
Those who score 60% for general category and 55% for the reserved category will be counted as qualified for UPTET 2018. The UPTET qualifying marks are given below:
