1. Eminent neurologist Jagjit Chopra dies
Padma Bhushan winning neurologist Jagjit Singh Chopra has died. He was 84.
He was the founder of the department of neurology at PGIMER, Chandigarh.

पद्म भूषण से सम्मानित न्यूरोलॉजिस्ट डॉ जगजीत सिंह चोपड़ा का निधन हो गया। वह 84 वर्ष के थे।
चोपड़ा पीजीआईएमईआर चंडीगढ़ में न्यूरोलॉजी विभाग के संस्थापक थे।

3. Bengali writer Atin Bandyopadhyay passes away
Sahitya Akademi award winning Bengali writer Atin Bandyopadhyay died. He was 85.
Bandyopadhyay was born in Dhaka in then undivided Bengal and had taken up various jobs as a sailor, school teacher, factory manager, journalist to finally became a writer.
बांग्ला लेखक अतीन बंद्योपाध्याय का निधन
साहित्य अकादमी पुरस्कार विजेता बांग्ला लेखक अतीन बंद्योपाध्याय का निधन हो गया। वह 85 वर्ष के थे।
बंद्योपाध्याय का जन्म तत्कालीन अविभाजित बंगाल के ढाका में हुआ था और उन्होंने नाविक, स्कूल शिक्षक, कारखाना प्रबंधक, पत्रकार से आखिरकार एक लेखक बनने तक का सफर तय किया था।
