Govt allocates ₹1,330 crore empowerment, protection of women
The government has provided ₹1,330 crore for the empowerment and protection of women in the Interim Budget for 2019-20. Finance Minister Piyush Goyal said allocation for the
National Education Mission is being increased from ₹32,334 crore in FY19 to ₹38,572 crore
in 2019-20. Allocation for Integrated Child Development Services Scheme will be increased
to ₹27,584 crore in FY20, he added.
