1. Pramod Chandra Mody new CBDT chairman
Senior bureaucrat Pramod Chandra Mody has been appointed as the chairman of Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT).
Mody, a 1982 batch Indian Revenue Service (Income Tax cadre), has been appointed in place of Sushil Chandra.
Mody is at present member in the CBDT.

वरिष्ठ नौकरशाह प्रमोद चन्द्र मोदी को केन्द्रीय प्रत्यक्ष कर बोर्ड (सीबीडीटी) का अध्यक्ष नियुक्त किया गया।
भारतीय राजस्व सेवा (आयकर कैडर) के 1982 बैच के अधिकारी प्रमोद चन्द्र को सुशील चन्द्र के स्थान पर नियुक्त किया गया है।
प्रमोद इस समय सीबीडीटी के सदस्य है।
2. AYUSH Minister launches e-AUSHADHI portal for Online Licensing System of AYUSH Medicine
Minister of State (IC) for AYUSH, Shripad Yesso Naik launched the e-AUSHADHI portal, for online licensing of Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani and Homoeopathy drugs and related matters at New Delhi.

6. RBI Imposes Rs 3.5 Crore Penalty on 3 PSU Banks for Violation of Banking Norms
The Reserve Bank of India has imposed a penalty of Rs 1.5 crore on Oriental Bank of Commerce (OBC) and Rs 1 crore each on Punjab National Bank (PNB) and Bank of India for violation of various banking norms.
