The Reserve Bank of India has released the Sixth Bi-monthly Monetary Policy. The highlights of the Monetary Policy statement are as follows-
Reserve Bank of India has reduced the repo rate by by 25 basis points from 6.5 per cent to 6.25 per cent in its Sixth Bi-monthly Monetary Policy. Other Policy rates are as follows-
Current Policy Rates
Repo rate- 6.25 percent
Reverse Repo rate- 6.0 percent
Bank Rate- 6.5 per cent
Marginal Standing Facility- 6.5 per cent
CRR- 4.0 percent
SLR- 19.25 percent
The next meeting of the MPC is scheduled from April 2 to 4, 2019.
