2. Infosys to acquire 75% stake in ABN AMRO Bank subsidiary Stater
India's second largest IT services firm Infosys said it will acquire 75 per cent stake in ABN AMRO Bank's wholly-owned subsidiary, Stater, for 127.5 million euros (about Rs 989 crore).

3. Tripura second in country in child marriage, says report
Tripura occupies the second position in India in terms of child marriages among girls between 15-19 years of age, an international study has found.
Over 80 percent of total child marriages in the state take place in rural areas of three districts, said the report.
"Tripura occupies the second position with respect to highest prevalence of child marriage among girls aged 15-19 years at 21.6 per cent which is significantly higher than the national average of 11.9 per cent," said Young Lives - an international study on childhood poverty, quoting data from the National Family Health Survey (NFHS).
बालविवाह के मामलों में त्रिपुरा का देश में दूसरा स्थान
एक अंतरराष्ट्रीय अध्ययन में पाया गया है कि 15-19 साल के आयुवर्ग की कन्याओं के बालविवाह के मामले में त्रिपुरा, भारत में द्वितीय स्थान पर है।
इस अध्ययन में कहा गया है कि कुल बालविवाहों के 80 प्रतिशत से अधिक, राज्य के तीन जिलों के ग्रामीण इलाकों में संपन्न होते हैं।
राष्ट्रीय परिवार स्थास्थ्य सर्वेक्षण से प्राप्त आंकड़ों के हवाले से यंग लाइव्स-एन इंटरनेशनल स्टडी ऑन चाइल्डहुड पॉवर्टी ने कहा है कि 15 से 19 आयुवर्ग की कन्याओं के बालविवाह का राष्ट्रीय औसत 11.9 प्रतिशत है किंतु त्रिपुरा के लिए यही आंकड़ा 21.6 प्रतिशत का है।
