AGE :- The applicant must not be less than 18 (eighteen) years old and must not be more than 27 (twenty seven) years old as on 01/01/2019. The Upper-age limit shall be relaxed for the SC/ST candidates of West Bengal only by 05 (five) years and OBC candidates of West Bengal only by 03 (three) years.
Minimum Educational Qualification:- The applicant must have passed Madhyamik Examination from the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent having Bengali/ Nepali as a language paper of or above the Madhyamik level.
Language : - The competence of a candidate in Bengali/Nepali language will be tested at the Preliminary Written Test.
Recruitment Procedure:
A. Preliminary Written Test (Full Marks - 100): This test will be of MCQ type, There will 100 questions of 100 marks. Total time will be 1 hour (60 minutes):
i. Test of language (Bengali/ Nepali) : 50 Marks
ii. General Awareness & Reasoning : 50 Marks
B. PHYSICAL MEASUREMENT TEST (PMT)
C. PHYSICAL EFFICIENCY TEST (PET)
D. FINAL WRITTEN TEST (FWT) : - Full Marks – 90;
The Final Written Test will have 90 (ninety) Multiple Choice (Four choices) Objective Type Questions (MCQs) each carrying equal marks. The duration of the test will be 1 (One) hour and 30 minutes. The quesion paper will be set in three languages (Bengali, Nepali & English) except questions on the English language.
A. General Awareness and General Knowledge - 30 Marks
B. English - 30 Marks
C. Elementary Mathematics (Madhyamik standard) - 20 Marks
D. Reasoning - 10 Marks
E. INTERVIEW : - Full Marks – 10;
