1. The Reserve Bank of India has reduced the repo rate by 25 basis points to 6.0 per cent from 6.25 per cent in its first Bi-monthly Monetary Policy Review of 2019-20.

Bank Rate- 6.25%
Marginal Standing Facility (MSF) - 6.25%
भारतीय रिज़र्व बैंक ने 2019-20 की अपनी पहली द्वि-मासिक मौद्रिक नीति समीक्षा में रेपो दर को 25 आधार अंकों से घटाकर 6.0 प्रतिशत कर दिया है।

2. United Arab Emirates (UAE) has conferred its highest civilian honour 'Zayed Medal' on Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi received the honour in appreciation of his efforts in maintaining strategic ties with the UAE.
