1. Polish novelist Olga Tokarczuk has been named among five female nominees for this year's Booker International Prize. She is nominated alongside Jokha Alharthi from Oman, France's Annie Ernaux, Marion Poschmann of Germany, Juan Gabriel Vasquez from Colombia and Chile's Alia Trabucco Zeran.

4. Exim Bank has granted an $180million loan facility to Ghana for two projects. The bank has given a loan of $30million for the rehabilitation of Yendi Water Systems. Along with this, $150million would be injected for strengthening the Agricultural Mechanisation Services Centres project in West African countries.
एक्जिम बैंक ने घाना को दो परियोजनाओं के लिये 18 करोड़ डालर मूल्य की कर्ज सुविधा दी है। बैंक ने येन्डी में पुनर्वास और पेय जल प्रणाली के उन्नयन के लिये 3 करोड़ डालर की कर्ज सुविधा दी है। साथ ही पूरे पश्चिम अफ्रीकी देशों में कृषि यंत्रीकरण सेवा केंद्रों को मजबूत करने को लेकर 15 करोड़ डालर की कर्ज सहायता उपलब्ध करायी गयी है।
