SBI Clerk 2019: Exam Pattern

Dear Aspirants,

As you all know that State Bank Of India (SBI) has released a notification regarding recruitment on the post of Junior Associates (Customer Support & Sales). There are 8600+ vacancies under this recruitment. This is a great opportunity for all banking aspirants so start your preparations now and mark success in this examination. But before starting your preparation you should know the examination pattern so that you can analyse your strong and weak section and can start preparing accordingly. Here, we are discussing the pattern of SBI Clerk examination 2019.

This examination is a 2-phase exam:

1-Prelims Examination

2-Mains Examination

Prelims Examination: Preliminary Examination (online) consisting of Objective Tests for 100 marks will be conducted online. This test would be of 1 hour duration consisting of 3 Sections as follows:

There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests.1/4th of mark assigned for question will be deducted for each wrong answer.
No minimum qualifying marks for individual subject (No Sectional Cut Off).

Main Examination:The structure of main examination (online objective type) would be as follows.:

Each test will have a separate timing as mentioned above.
There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests. 1/4th of mark assigned for question will be deducted for each wrong answer.

Test of specified opted local language: Those who qualify for selection and produce 10th or 12th standard mark sheet/ certificate evidencing having studied the speci􀄤ed opted local language will not be subjected to any Language test. In case of others (quali􀄤ed for selection), specified opted local language test will be conducted after provisional selection but before joining. Candidates not found to be pro􀄤cient in speci􀄤ed opted local language would be disqualified.
