The Reserve Bank of India has imposed a penalty of Rs 11.25 lakh on Yes Bank for violating money transfer norms.

3. Chief Economic Advisor Krishnamurthy Subramanian appointed as member of Advisory Council of 15th Finance Commission
Chief Economic Advisor Dr. Krishnamurthy Subramanian has been included as the member of the Advisory Council of the Fifteenth Finance Commission.
It may be recalled that on April 16 last year the Fifteenth Finance Commission had constituted an Advisory Council with the following Members-- Dr. D.K. Srivastava, Dr. Indira Rajaraman, Dr. Arvind Virmani, Dr. Surjit S. Bhalla, Dr. Sanjeev Gupta, Prof. Pinaki Chakraborty, Sajjid Chinoy, Neelkanth Mishra, Prachi Mishra, Dr M. Govinda Rao, and Dr. Omkar Goswami.
Dr. Krishnamurthy Subramanian will be the twelfth Member of the Council.
वित्त आयोग की सलाहकार परिषद में शामिल हुए मुख्य आर्थिक सलाहकार
मुख्य आर्थिक सलाहकार कृष्णमूर्ति सुब्रमण्यम को 15वें वित्त आयोग की सलाहकार परिषद में सदस्य के रूप में शामिल किया गया है।
वित्त आयोग को विभिन्न मुद्दों पर परामर्श उपलब्ध कराने के लिए अप्रैल, 2018 में सलाहकार परिषद का गठन किया गया था।
इसके साथ ही परिषद में सदस्यों की संख्या 12 हो गयी है।
4. Pact rollout to increase number of Indian students in France
With the rollout of the agreement between France and India for the Mutual Recognition of Academic Qualifications from May 1, the number of Indian students in French universities will go up substantially, a senior French diplomat has said.
Consul General of France in Mumbai, Sonia Barbry, said the number of Indian students in her country may go up to 15,000 by 2025 from the current figure of 9,000.

फ्रांस और भारत के बीच एक मई से अकादमिक योग्यताओं की परस्पर पहचान को लेकर हुए समझौते के तहत फ्रांस के विश्वविद्यालयों में भारतीय विद्यार्थियों की संख्या काफी हद तक बढ़ जाएगी।
मुंबई में फ्रांस की महावाणिज्य दूत सोनिया बारब्री ने कहा कि उनके देश में भारतीय विद्यार्थियों की संख्या 2025 तक मौजूदा संख्या 9,000 से बढ़कर 15,000 तक हो सकती है।
