1- Union Jal Shakti Minister announced a campaign for water conservation and water security "Jal Shakti Abhiyan"
Union Jal Shakti Minister, Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat announced the commencement of the Jal Shakti Abhiyan - a campaign for water conservation and water security. The campaign will run through citizen participation during the monsoon season, from 1st July, 2019 to 15th September, 2019. An additional Phase 2 will be run from 1st October, 2019 to 30th November, 2019 for States receiving the North East retreating monsoons. The focus of the campaign will be on water stressed districts and blocks.
केंद्रीय जल शक्ति मंत्री गजेंद्र सिंह शेखावत ने जल संरक्षण और जल सुरक्षा के लिए एक अभियान "जल शक्ति अभियान" की घोषणा की
केंद्रीय जल शक्ति मंत्री, श्री गजेन्द्र सिंह शेखावत ने जल शक्ति अभियान - जल संरक्षण और जल सुरक्षा के लिए अभियान शुरू करने की घोषणा की। यह अभियान 1 जुलाई, 2019 से 15 सितंबर, 2019 तक मानसून में नागरिक भागीदारी के माध्यम से चलेगा। उत्तर पूर्वी मानसून वर्षा वाले राज्यों के लिए 1 अक्टूबर, 2019 से 30 नवंबर, 2019 तक एक अतिरिक्त चरण 2 चलाया जाएगा। इस अभियान का मुख्य ध्यान पानी की कमी झेल रहे जिलों और ब्लॉकों पर होगा।
सरकार ने प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के साथ स्वच्छ भारत अभियान की तरह ही जल संरक्षण को चलाने की योजना बनाई है, जिसमें कहा गया है कि बारिश के पानी के संरक्षण के लिए रविवार को पिचिंग की गई, जिसमें कहा गया कि इसे स्वच्छता अभियान की तर्ज पर एक जन आंदोलन बनाने की जरूरत है।
2- Parliament approves resolution to extend President Rule in J&K
The Parliament has given its nod to the resolution seeking extension of President rule in Jammu and Kashmir for further period of six months with effect from 3rd July 2019 with the Rajya Sabha'S approval. The Governor's rule in Jammu and Kashmir was imposed initially on June 20, 2018 and the State Assembly was kept in suspended animation after the state plunged into a political crisis when the Mehbooba Mufti-led coalition government was reduced to minority following withdrawal of support by the 25-member BJP in the state.
Under Section 92 of the Constitution of Jammu and Kashmir, there is no provision for further continuation of Governor's rule after six months. Hence, on the recommendation of Governor and having regard to the prevailing situation in the state, the President's rule was imposed on December 20, 2018.
Subsequently, a resolution approving the President's rule was passed in the Lok Sabha on December 28, 2018 and in the Rajya Sabha on January 3, 2019.
संसद ने जम्मू-कश्मीर में राष्ट्रपति शासन बढ़ाने के प्रस्ताव को मंजूरी दी
संसद ने राज्यसभा की मंजूरी के साथ 3 जुलाई 2019 से जम्मू और कश्मीर में राष्ट्रपति शासन के छह महीने अतिरिक्त विस्तार की मांग को लेकर अपनी सहमति दे दी है। इससे पहले जम्मू और कश्मीर में राष्ट्रपति-शासन 20 जून, 2018 को लागू किया गया था ,जब राज्य में 25 भाजपा के सदस्यों द्वारा समर्थन वापस ले लेने के बाद महबूबा मुफ़्ती के नेतृत्व वाली सरकार को अल्पमत के कारण राज्य विधानसभा को निलंबित कर दिया गया था।
जम्मू और कश्मीर के संविधान की धारा 92 के तहत, छह महीने के बाद राज्यपाल शासन जारी रखने का कोई प्रावधान नहीं है। इसलिए, राज्यपाल की सिफारिश पर और राज्य में मौजूदा स्थिति के संबंध में, राष्ट्रपति शासन 20 दिसंबर, 2018 को लगाया गया था।
इसके बाद, 28 दिसंबर, 2018 को लोकसभा में और 3 जनवरी, 2019 को राज्यसभा में राष्ट्रपति शासन को मंजूरी देने वाला प्रस्ताव पारित किया गया।
3- Prime Minister constituted a high-powered committee of chief ministers for the transformation of agriculture and raising farmers' income
The nine-member committee, headed by Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, will suggest policy measures, attract investments and raise growth in food processing.
Chief Ministers of Karnataka, Haryana, Arunachal Pradesh, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Union Agriculture, Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Narendra Singh Tomar and NITI Aayog member Ramesh Chand will be the members of the committee.
The committee will discuss the measures for the transformation of agriculture and raising farmers' income. Modalities for adoption and time-bound implementation of agriculture sector reforms will be suggested by the committee.
The committee will submit its report in two months.
The panel will examine various provisions of the Essential Commodity Act (ECA), to attract private investments in agricultural marketing and infrastructure. It will also suggest a mechanism for linking of market reforms with e-NAM, GRAM and other relevant Centrally Sponsored Schemes.

महाराष्ट्र के मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फड़नवीस की अध्यक्षता में नौ सदस्यीय समिति निवेश को आकर्षित करने और खाद्य प्रसंस्करण में वृद्धि के लिए नीतिगत उपायों का सुझाव देगी।
कर्नाटक, हरियाणा, अरुणाचल प्रदेश, गुजरात, उत्तर प्रदेश, मध्य प्रदेश राज्यों के मुख्यमंत्री, केंद्रीय कृषि, ग्रामीण विकास और पंचायती राज मंत्री नरेंद्र सिंह तोमर और नीति आयोग के सदस्य रमेश चंद इस समिति के सदस्य होंगे।
समिति कृषि के परिवर्तन और किसानों की आय बढ़ाने के उपायों पर चर्चा करेगी। समिति द्वारा कृषि क्षेत्र सुधारों को अपनाने और समयबद्ध कार्यान्वयन के तौर-तरीकों का सुझाव दिया जाएगा।
समिति अपनी रिपोर्ट 2 महीने में देगी।
यह विशेष पैनल कृषि विपणन और बुनियादी ढांचे में निजी निवेश को आकर्षित करने के लिए 'आवश्यक वस्तु अधिनियम' (ईसीए) के विभिन्न प्रावधानों की जांच करेगा।

The Ministries of AYUSH and Electronics and Information Technology signed a Memorandum of Understanding in New Delhi to collaborate on the digitization of the AYUSH sector. An official release said, the Ministry aims to digitize the entire AYUSH, leading to transformation in the field of health care delivery at all levels, along with greater research, education, delivery of various health care programmes and better drug regulations.
The Electronics and Information Technology Ministry has agreed to give technical support to the AYUSH Ministry for planning and development of AYUSH GRID Project.
