1- High-level committee formed to strategise preparations for 2020, 2024 Olympics
A high-level 10-member Committee has been constituted under the Chairmanship of Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju to coordinate and strategise the preparation for the 2020 and 2024 Olympics. The objective of the committee is to ensure that the performance of the Indian athletes is optimised in the Olympics and other multidisciplinary events.
The committee comprises prominent sportspersons like Olympic medallists -- tennis ace Leander Paes and shooter Gagan Narang. Other prominent names in the committee include Secretary of Department of Sports Radhey Shyam Julaniya, Indian Olympic Association President Narinder Batra, IOA Secretary General Rajeev Mehta, President of Indian Athletics Federation Adille Sumariwalla and Boxing Federation of India chief Ajay Singh among others.

खेल मंत्री किरेन रिजिजू की अध्यक्षता में एक उच्च-स्तरीय 10-सदस्यीय समिति का गठन किया गया है ताकि 2020 और 2024 के ओलंपिक की तैयारी की रणनीति बनाई जा सके। समिति का उद्देश्य यह सुनिश्चित करना है कि ओलंपिक में भारतीय एथलीटों का प्रदर्शन बेहतरीन रहे। इस समिति में ओलंपिक पदक विजेता - टेनिस ऐस लिएंडर पेस और निशानेबाज गगन नारंग जैसे प्रमुख खिलाड़ी शामिल हैं। समिति के अन्य प्रमुख नामों में खेल विभाग के सचिव राधेश्याम जुलानिया, भारतीय ओलंपिक संघ के अध्यक्ष नरिंदर बत्रा, आईओए के महासचिव राजीव मेहता, भारतीय एथलेटिक्स महासंघ के अध्यक्ष अदिले सुमारिवाला और भारतीय बॉक्सिंग संघ के प्रमुख अजय सिंह शामिल हैं।

3- Govt approves national permit scheme for inter-state travel for bus operators
The government has approved the national permit scheme for inter-state travelfor bus operators. The move is likely to increase the state revenue by 3-4 per cent as the money will be directly credited to the states in a proportionate manner.

सरकार बस ऑपरेटरों के लिए अंतर-राज्यीय यात्रा के लिए राष्ट्रीय परमिट योजना को दी मंजूरी
सरकार ने अंतरराज्यीय यात्रा करने वाले बस ऑपरेटरों के लिए राष्ट्रीय परमिट योजना को मंजूरी दे दी है। इस इससे राज्यों के राजस्व में तीन से चार प्रतिशत की वृद्धि होगी और यह राशि आनुपातिक आधार पर राज्यों के खाते में सीधे अंतरित की जाएगी।

Houston-based Texas India Forum will host a community summit in honour of visiting Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the NRG Stadium on September 22. The event will be organised by the Texas India Forum, a not-for-profit organisation.

ह्यूस्टन स्थित टेक्सास इंडिया फोरम 22 सितंबर को NRG स्टेडियम में भारतीय प्रधान मंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी का दौरा करने के सम्मान में एक सामुदायिक शिखर सम्मेलन की मेजबानी करेगा। इस कार्यक्रम का आयोजन टेक्सास इंडिया फोरम द्वारा किया जाएगा, जो कि एक लाभ-रहित संगठन (NGO)है।
5- Defence Ministry organises online quiz competition on Kargil War
Ministry of Defence has organised an online quiz competition on the Kargil War to create a patriotic feeling among youth and masses.
The quiz competition will continue till 4th of next month. It is being conducted on MyGov.in platform in Hindi and English. The duration of the quiz will be of five minutes during which a maximum of 20 questions can be answered. Prizes will also be given in this quiz.
रक्षा मंत्रालय कारगिल युद्ध पर ऑनलाइन प्रश्नोत्तरी प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन किया
रक्षा मंत्रालय ने युवाओं और जनता के बीच देशभक्ति की भावना उत्पन्न करने के लिए कारगिल युद्ध पर एक ऑनलाइन क्विज प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन किया है।
क्विज़ प्रतियोगिता अगस्त की महीने की 4 तारीख तक जारी रहेगी। यह MyGov.in प्लेटफॉर्म पर हिंदी और अंग्रेजी में संचालित की जा रहा है। क्विज़ की अवधि पाँच मिनट की होगी जिसके दौरान अधिकतम 20 प्रश्नों के उत्तर दिए जा सकते हैं। इस प्रतियोगिता में पुरस्कार भी प्रदान किये जायेंगे।
