1- High-level committee formed to strategise preparations for 2020, 2024 Olympics. A high-level 10-member Committee has been constituted under the Chairmanship of Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju to coordinate and strategise the preparation for the 2020 and 2024 Olympics.

2- Central Reserve Police Force- CRPF has celebrated its 81st raising day on 27th July 2019.
केंद्रीय रिजर्व पुलिस बल- CRPF ने 27 जुलाई 2019 को अपना 81 वां स्थापना दिवस मनाया ।
3- The government has approved the national permit scheme for inter-state travel for bus operators. The move is likely to increase the state revenue by 3-4 per cent as the money will be directly credited to the states in a proportionate manner.

सरकार ने अंतरराज्यीय यात्रा करने वाले बस ऑपरेटरों के लिए राष्ट्रीय परमिट योजना को मंजूरी दे दी है। इस इससे राज्यों के राजस्व में तीन से चार प्रतिशत की वृद्धि होगी और यह राशि आनुपातिक आधार पर राज्यों के खाते में सीधे अंतरित की जाएगी।

4- Houston-based Texas India Forum will host a community summit in honour of visiting Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the NRG Stadium on September 22. The event will be organised by the Texas India Forum, a not-for-profit organisation.

5- Ministry of Defence has organised an online quiz competition on the Kargil War to create a patriotic feeling among youth and masses.The quiz competition will continue till 4th of next month. It is being conducted on MyGov.in platform in Hindi and English. The duration of the quiz will be of five minutes during which a maximum of 20 questions can be answered.
रक्षा मंत्रालय ने युवाओं और जनता के बीच देशभक्ति की भावना उत्पन्न करने के लिए कारगिल युद्ध पर एक ऑनलाइन क्विज प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन किया है। क्विज़ प्रतियोगिता अगस्त की महीने की 4 तारीख तक जारी रहेगी। यह MyGov.in प्लेटफॉर्म पर हिंदी और अंग्रेजी में संचालित की जा रहा है। क्विज़ की अवधि पाँच मिनट की होगी जिसके दौरान अधिकतम 20 प्रश्नों के उत्तर दिए जा सकते हैं। इस प्रतियोगिता में पुरस्कार भी प्रदान किये जायेंगे।
6- The Lok Sabha has passed The Companies (Amendment) Bill, 2019. The Bill seeks to amend the Companies Act, 2013. It aims to tighten Corporate Social Responsibility compliance, transfer certain responsibilities to National Company Law Tribunal and recatgorise certain offences as civil offences.
लोकसभा ने कंपनी (संशोधन) विधेयक, 2019 पारित कर दिया है। इस विधेयक द्वारा कंपनी अधिनियम, 2013 में संशोधन किया जायेगा। इसका उद्देश्य कॉर्पोरेट सामाजिक उत्तरदायित्व कड़ाई से अनुपालन करना, राष्ट्रीय कंपनी कानून न्यायाधिकरण में कुछ जिम्मेदारियों को हस्तांतरित करना और नागरिक अपराधों के रूप में कुछ अपराधों को पुन: लागू करना है।
7- The US Senate has confirmed four-star Army General Mark Milley as the next Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the most powerful position of the American armed forces. 61 year Milley is currently the head of the US Army. He will replace General Joseph Dunford as the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

उत्तर अफ्रीकी देश के पहले लोकतांत्रिक रूप से चुने गए नेता ट्यूनीशियाई राष्ट्रपति बेजी कैड एस्सेबी का निधन हो गया है। वह 92 वर्ष के थे।
