1- PM Modi will be honoured with UAE highest national award- 'the order of Zayed'
During the two day visit, the Prime Minister will be honoured with the highest national award of UAE - the order of Zayed.
UAE Minister of Tolerance Sheikh Nahayan Bin Mubarak Al Nahayan has announced that the Highest National Award to PM Modi is a mark of the special relationship between India and UAE.

यूएई के सहकारिता मंत्री शेख नाहयान बिन मुबारक अल नाहयान ने घोषणा की है कि पीएम मोदी को सबसे बड़ा राष्ट्रीय पुरस्कार भारत और यूएई के बीच विशेष संबंधों की निशानी है।
2- FATF Asia Pacific Group put Pakistan in ‘enhanced blacklist’ for failing to meet global standards
The Financial Action Task Force’s (FATF) Asia Pacific Group put Pakistan on an “enhanced blacklist” after the country failed to meet global standards. The FATF has found Pakistan non-compliant on 32 of 40 compliance parameters on money laundering and terror financing. On 11 effectiveness parameters of money laundering and terror financing, Pakistan was adjudged low on 10.
Pakistan now faces the challenge of avoiding being placed under FATF's overall blacklist in October.
It was earlier placed in the 'grey list' by FATF.

देश के वैश्विक मानकों को पूरा करने में विफल रहने के बाद फाइनेंशियल एक्शन टास्क फोर्स (FATF) एशिया पैसिफिक ग्रुप ने पाकिस्तान को "इन्हैंस्ड ब्लैकलिस्ट" में डाल दिया। एफएटीएफ ने मनी लॉन्ड्रिंग और आतंकी वित्तपोषण पर 40 में से 32 अनुपालन मानकों पर पाकिस्तान को अयोग्य पाया है। मनी लॉन्ड्रिंग और आतंकी वित्तपोषण के 11 प्रभावशीलता मापदंडों पर, पाकिस्तान को 10 पर कम ठहराया गया था।
पाकिस्तान को अब अक्टूबर में एफएटीएफ के 'समग्र ब्लैकलिस्ट' से बचने की चुनौती है।
इसे पहले FATF द्वारा 'ग्रे लिस्ट' में रखा गया था।
3- WADA suspends India's National Dope Testing Laboratory
The World Anti-Doping Agency has suspended the accreditation of the National Dope Testing Laboratory for six months. The suspension has been imposed due to non-conformities with the International Standard for Laboratories as identified during a WADA site visit.

4- Vikram Rathour to replace Sanjay Bangar as India's new batting coach
Former opener Vikram Rathour will replace Sanjay Bangar as India's new batting coach while Bharath Arun and R. Sridhar were retained as bowling and fielding coaches.
The senior national selection committee headed by MSK Prasad recommended three names.
The 50-year-old Rathour has played six Tests and seven ODIs in 1996 without much success but was a domestic heavyweight for Punjab. Till 2016, he was a senior national selector under Sandeep Patil's chairmanship.

Constable Monali Jadhav from Maharashtra won three medals, including two golds, at the recently concluded World Police and Fire Games International Championship held in Chengdu, China. Jadhav is attached to the Jalamb police station in Buldhana district of Maharashtra.
