-> SoftBank gets $11 b from part-sale of Alibaba stake

-> SoftBank Group Corp will book a pre-tax profit of ¥1.2 trillion ($11.1 billion) for selling part of its stake in Chinese e-commerce leader Alibaba Group Holding Ltd

-> IFC sees potential for green bond projects in India

-> International Finance Corporation (IFC) sees immense opportunities to finance projects through green bonds in India

-> Projects identified include the development of urban transportation, waste-to-energy, water treatment and green building

-> Real Economy Green Investment Opportunity (REGIO) Fund is expected to catalyse $500-700 million in multilateral and private sector capital to support well-diversified climate-smart investments in developing countries around the world

-> IFC, a World Bank member, will provide a $100-million anchor investment in the fund, with $75 million from HSBC.

-> fund will have a total life of up to 15 years
