1- Japanese PM appoints new foreign & defence ministers
Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has appointed new foreign and defence ministers. The cabinet reshuffle has fuelled speculation over Abe's successor.
The Japanese Prime Minister named Toshimitsu Motegi as the new foreign minister, replacing Kono Taro, who moves to the defence portfolio.

जापानी प्रधान मंत्री ने कोनो तारो की जगह तोशिमित्सु मोतेगी को नए विदेश मंत्री के रूप में नियक्त किया है जबकि, कोनो तारो अब रक्षा विभाग के मंत्री के रूप में कार्य करेंगे।
2- J&K: Advisor Farooq Khan inaugurates POSHAN Maah-2019
In Jammu and Kashmir, Advisor to Governor, Farooq Khan has inaugurated POSHAN Maah-2019 for making unified efforts to combat the menace of malnutrition in order to make the country healthy and prosperous. He addressed the inaugural event of POSHAN Maah-2019 as part of Jan Andolan under POSHAN Abhiyaan in Jammu, Farooq Khan.

जम्मू-कश्मीर में, राज्यपाल के सलाहकार, फारूक खान ने देश को स्वस्थ और समृद्ध बनाने के लिए कुपोषण के खतरे से निपटने के लिए POSHAN Maah-2019 का उद्घाटन किया है। उन्होंने जम्मू में POSHAN अभियान के तहत जन आंदोलन के हिस्से के रूप में POSHAN Maah-2019 के उद्घाटन समारोह को संबोधित किया।
3- UP govt announces it's maiden Agriculture Export policy, 2019
In a major step towards doubling the income of farmers in the state, Uttar Pradesh Government has announced it's maiden Agriculture Export policy, 2019. The decision was taken in a Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Cabinet also cleared a proposal to compensate victims of lynching as directed by the Supreme Court.
The government aims at doubling the export of agricultural commodities by 2024 with the help of farmer producer organisations and various steps like giving incentives and promoting startups. In another major decision, the government had for the first time decided to allow procurement of paddy from contract farming and sharecroppers with certain riders to ensure payment of minimum support price to genuine farmers.

राज्य में किसानों की आय दोगुनी करने की दिशा में एक बड़े कदम के रूप में, उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार ने कृषि निर्यात नीति, 2019 की घोषणा की है। यह निर्णय मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ की अध्यक्षता में कैबिनेट की बैठक में लिया गया। कैबिनेट ने सर्वोच्च न्यायालय के निर्देश के अनुसार, पीड़ितों की क्षतिपूर्ति के प्रस्ताव को भी मंजूरी दे दी।
सरकार का लक्ष्य 2024 तक कृषि उत्पादक संगठनों की मदद से किसान उत्पादक संगठनों के निर्यात को दोगुना करना है इस दिशा में सरकार के महत्वपूर्ण कदम प्रोत्साहन देने और स्टॉक को बढ़ावा देना आदि है। एक अन्य बड़े फैसले में, सरकार ने पहली बार वास्तविक किसानों को न्यूनतम समर्थन मूल्य का भुगतान सुनिश्चित करने के लिए कुछ सवारियों के साथ अनुबंध कृषि और शेयरक्रॉपर से धान की खरीद की अनुमति देने का फैसला किया।
4- Sports Ministry derecognises Paralympic Committee of India
The Sports Ministry has de-recognised the Paralympic Committee of India (PCI), citing a violation of the National Sports Code in the body's decision to sack President Rao Inderjit Singh.
In the suspension order issued yesterday, the Ministry wrote that the PCI has been penalised for misgovernance.
The Ministry had received a complaint from Mr. Singh, who was removed by a majority vote, and it found the federation's response to it unsatisfactory.
The PCI had changed its byelaws to bar public servants from it during a May 4 Annual General Meeting. Singh is Minister of State (Planning) in the Union Government.
खेल मंत्रालय ने भारत की पैरालंपिक समिति की मान्यता रद्द की
खेल मंत्रालय ने राष्ट्रीय खेल संहिता का उल्लंघन करने का हवाला देकर भारतीय पैरालंपिक समिति (पीसीआई) की मान्यता रद्द कर दी है। पीसीआई ने अपने अध्यक्ष राव इंद्रजीत सिंह को बर्खास्त करने का फैसला किया था जिसके बाद खेल मंत्रालय ने यह कदम उठाया। जारी निलंबन के आदेश में खेल मंत्रालय ने लिखा है कि पीसीआई को खराब संचालन के कारण निलंबित किया गया है।
मंत्रालय को राव इंद्रजीत की शिकायत मिली थी जिन्हें बहुमत से हटाया गया। मंत्रालय ने पाया कि शिकायत को लेकर महासंघ का जवाब संतोषजनक नहीं था। पीसीआई ने 4 मई को आम सभा की बैठक में अपने उप नियमों के बदलाव करते हुए सरकारी सेवा से जुड़े लोगों को प्रतिबंधित कर दिया था।
