1- Rahul Aware won a bronze medal in men's 61 kilogram free-style category

Indian wrestler Rahul Aware has won a bronze medal in men's 61 kilogram free-style category at the World Championship in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan. It was India’s fifth medal at this edition of the World Championships with a total haul of 1 silver and 4 bronzes.

राहुल अवारे ने कजाकिस्तान के नूर-सुल्तान में विश्व चैम्पियनशिप में कांस्य पदक जीता

भारतीय पहलवान राहुल अवारे ने कजाकिस्तान के नूर-सुल्तान में विश्व चैम्पियनशिप में पुरुषों की 61 किलोग्राम फ्री-स्टाइल श्रेणी में कांस्य पदक जीता है। यह विश्व चैंपियनशिप के इस संस्करण में भारत का पांचवां पदक था, जिसमें कुल 1 रजत और 4 कांस्य शामिल थे।

2- Boxer Amit Panghal creates history by winning Silver at World Boxing Championship

Ace Indian boxer Amit Panghal settled for a silver at the AIBA Men's World Boxing Championships at Ekaterinburg in Russia. He lost to Shakhobidin Zoirov of Uzbekistan Zoirov in flyweight (48-52 kg) category, by a unanimous decision from the judges.

बॉक्सर अमित पंघाल ने वर्ल्ड बॉक्सिंग चैंपियनशिप में सिल्वर जीतकर इतिहास रच दिया

भारतीय मुक्केबाज अमित पंघाल रूस के एकातेरिनबर्ग में एआईबीए पुरुष विश्व मुक्केबाजी चैंपियनशिप में रजत पदक जीता। वह फ्लाईबेट (48-52 किग्रा) वर्ग में उज्बेकिस्तान ज़ोइरोव के शाहखोबिन ज़ोइरो से हार गए।

3- Zoya Akhtar's 'Gully Boy' is India's official entry for the 92nd Oscars

The Film Federation of India (FFI) has chosen ‘Gully Boy’ as India’s official entry to the Oscars. A total of 28 movies (including the one selected) were in contention.Celebrated actor-filmmaker Aparna Sen was the head of the jury for this year’s selection committee.

No Indian film has ever won an Oscar. The last Indian film that made it to the final five in the Best Foreign Film category list was Ashutosh Gowariker’s “Lagaan” in 2001.

“Mother India” (1958) and “Salaam Bombay” (1989) are the other two Indian movies to have made it to the top five.

जोया अख्तर की 'गली बॉय' 92वें ऑस्कर के लिए भारत की आधिकारिक प्रविष्टि 

फिल्म फेडरेशन ऑफ इंडिया (FFI) ने 'गली बॉय' को ऑस्कर में भारत की आधिकारिक प्रविष्टि के रूप में चुना है। 'गली बॉय' को कुल 28 फिल्में में से चयनित किया है। प्रसिद्ध अभिनेता-फिल्म निर्माता अपर्णा सेन इस वर्ष की चयन समिति के निर्णायक मंडल की प्रमुख थीं।

अभी तक किसी भी भारतीय फिल्म ने कभी ऑस्कर नहीं जीता है। अंतिम भारतीय फिल्म जिसने सर्वश्रेष्ठ विदेशी फिल्म श्रेणी की सूची में अंतिम पांच में जगह बनाई, वह 2001 में आशुतोष गोवारिकर की "लगान" थी।

"मदर इंडिया" (1958) और "सलाम बॉम्बे" (1989) अन्य दो भारतीय फिल्में हैं जिन्होंने शीर्ष पांच में जगह बनाई है।
