1- KS Dhatwalia appointed PIB's Principal DG
Senior Indian Information Service officer, KS Dhatwalia, has been appointed as the Principal Director General of Press Information Bureau.
Mr. Dhatwalia will succeed Sitanshu Kar. He will be the 28th Principal Spokesperson of the government.
Satyendra Prakash, Director General, Bureau of Outreach and Communication, has been given additional charge of Press Registrar, RNI.
केएस धतवालिया ने पीआईबी का प्रधान महानिदेशक नियुक्त किया
भारतीय सूचना सेवा के वरिष्ठ अधिकारी, केएस धतवालिया को प्रेस सूचना ब्यूरो का प्रधान महानिदेशक नियुक्त किया गया है।
श्री धतवालिया सीतांशु कर के बाद इस पद को संभालेंगे। वह सरकार के 28 वें प्रधान प्रवक्ता होंगे।
ब्यूरो ऑफ आउटरीच एंड कम्युनिकेशन के महानिदेशक सत्येंद्र प्रकाश को प्रेस रजिस्ट्रार, आरएनआई का अतिरिक्त प्रभार दिया गया है।
2- DRDO test-fires BrahMos supersonic cruise missile
DRDO (Defence Research and Development Organization) has successfully test-fired a land-attack version of BrahMos supersonic cruise missile off the coast of Odisha from the Integrated Test Range in Chandipur.
Its strike range is 290km and can be fired from land as well as sea-based platforms.
On 11 March, 2017, the first extended version of the missile was successfully tested. It had a strike range of 450 kilometres.
डीआरडीओ ने ब्रह्मोस सुपरसोनिक क्रूज मिसाइल का परीक्षण किया
डीआरडीओ (रक्षा अनुसंधान और विकास संगठन) ने एकीकृत परीक्षण रेंज चांदीपुर
ओडिशा के तट से ब्रह्मोस सुपरसोनिक क्रूज मिसाइल के भूमि-हमले संस्करण का सफलतापूर्वक परीक्षण किया है।
इसकी स्ट्राइक रेंज 290 किमी है और इसे जमीन के साथ-साथ समुद्र आधारित प्लेटफार्मों से भी दागा जा सकता है।
11 मार्च, 2017 को, मिसाइल के पहले विस्तारित संस्करण का सफलतापूर्वक परीक्षण किया गया था। इसमें 450 किलोमीटर की स्ट्राइक रेंज थी।
3- Annu Rani qualifies for Javelin Throw Final at World Athletics Championship
Annu Rani has become the first Indian to qualify for Women's Javelin Throw Final at World Athletics Championships in Doha.
She smashed her own national record during the qualification round of the Championships with best attempt of 62.43 metres. Annu Rani finished fifth in the qualifying round.
अन्नू रानी ने विश्व एथलेटिक्स चैम्पियनशिप में जेवलिन थ्रो फ़ाइनल के लिए क्वालीफाई किया
अन्नू रानी दोहा में विश्व एथलेटिक्स चैंपियनशिप में महिला जेवलिन थ्रो फाइनल के लिए क्वालीफाई करने वाली पहली भारतीय बन गई हैं।
उन्होंने 62.43 मीटर के सर्वश्रेष्ठ प्रयास के साथ चैंपियनशिप के क्वालिफिकेशन राउंड के दौरान अपना ही राष्ट्रीय रिकॉर्ड तोड़ दिया। अन्नू रानी क्वालीफाइंग दौर में पांचवें स्थान पर रहीं।
4- RBI appoints Jai Bhagwan Bhoria as administrator for PMC Bank
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI ) superseded the Board of crisis-hit Punjab and Maharashtra Cooperative Bank Ltd. Mumbai and appointed Jai Bhagwan Bhoria as the administrator of the bank. Jai Bhagwan will replace S. Varyam Singh.
The RBI's directives will remain in force for a period of six months.

भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक ने पंजाब और महाराष्ट्र को-ऑपरेटिव बैंक लिमिटेड, मुंबई के बोर्ड को अधिक्रमित कर दिया है और जय भगवान भोरिया को बैंक का प्रशासक नियुक्त किया है. जय भगवान एस.वार्यम सिंह का स्थान लेंगे.
आरबीआई के निर्देश छह महीने की अवधि के लिए लागू रहेंगे।
