1- IAF Squadrons which participated in Balakot air strike awarded citations
Two squadrons of the Indian Air Force, which played a key role in the Balakot air strike, were decorated with citations at the Hindon base on the 87th IAF Day on 8th October 2019.
IAF chief RKS Bhadauria decorated the 51 Squadron and the 9 Squadron for their role in the air strike on terrorist camps in Pakistan's Balakot in February. The IAF was founded on October 8, 1932, and the force has participated in several crucial wars and landmark missions.
वायुसेना के बालाकोट हवाई हमले में भाग लेने वाले स्क्वाड्रनों को प्रशंसा पत्र से सम्मानित किया गया
भारतीय वायु सेना के दो स्क्वाड्रन, जिन्होंने बालाकोट हवाई हमले में अहम भूमिका निभाई थी, को 8 अक्टूबर 2019 को 87 वें IAF दिवस पर हिंडन एयर बेस पर प्रशंसा पत्र से सम्मानित किया गया।
IAF प्रमुख आरकेएस भदौरिया ने फरवरी में पाकिस्तान के बालाकोट में आतंकवादी शिविरों पर हवाई हमले में अपनी भूमिका के लिए 51 स्क्वाड्रन और 9 स्क्वाड्रन को प्रशस्ति पत्र से सम्मानित किया । IAF की स्थापना 8 अक्टूबर, 1932 को हुई थी, इस बल ने कई महत्वपूर्ण युद्धों और ऐतिहासिक अभियानों में भाग लिया है।
2- 1st Day Care Recreation Centre inaugurated for senior citizens in Leh
A day-care cum recreation centre for senior citizens has been inaugurated in Leh.The first Government-sponsored and operated day-care cum recreation centre for senior citizens was inaugurated by Supreme Court judge, Justice S. Abdul Nazeer in presence of Chief Justice J&K, Gita Mittal in Leh.
The day care Centre, co-sponsored by Government and the District Legal Service Authority will provide a raft of medical facilities including geriatric care, health consultations and check-ups, physiotherapy as well legal service the senior citizens would require on various legal issues.

वरिष्ठ नागरिकों के लिए एक डे केयर रिक्रिएशन सेंटर का लेह में उद्घाटन किया गया। वरिष्ठ नागरिकों के लिए सरकार द्वारा प्रायोजित और संचालित पहले डे-केयर रिक्रिएशन सेंटर का उद्घाटन सुप्रीम कोर्ट के न्यायाधीश, न्यायमूर्ति एस अब्दुल नजीर ने लेह के मुख्य न्यायाधीश जे एंड के, गीता मित्तल की उपस्थिति में किया।
डे केयर सेंटर, सरकार और जिला कानूनी सेवा प्राधिकरण द्वारा सह-प्रायोजित, जेरिएट्रिक देखभाल, स्वास्थ्य परामर्श और चेक-अप, फिजियोथेरेपी सहित चिकित्सा सुविधाओं का एक समूह प्रदान करेगा और साथ ही वरिष्ठ नागरिकों को विभिन्न मुद्दों पर कानूनी सलाह भी प्रदान की जाएगी।

Biles' 15th career gold medal brings her a total of 21 medals, breaking a tie with the Russian gymnast Svetlana Khorkina for the most medals by a woman at the world championships.

अमेरिकी की दिग्गज जिमनास्टिक्स स्टार सिमोन बाइल्स ने विश्व कलात्मक जिमनास्टिक चैंपियनशिप में अपना रिकॉर्ड 15 वां विश्व खिताब हासिल कर लिया। यह इवेंट जर्मनी के स्टटगार्ट में आयोजित की गयी थी।
बाइल्स का 15 वां करियर गोल्ड मेडल उन्हें कुल 21 पदक मिले, जो विश्व चैंपियनशिप में एक महिला द्वारा सबसे अधिक पदक वाली रूसी जिमनास्ट स्वेतलाना खोरकीना के बराबर है।
4- Mauritius PM dissolves parliament, announces elections
Mauritius Prime Minister Pravind Kumar Jugnauth dissolved the parliament. The nation will hold a general election on November seventh.
By law, the country has between 30 and 150 days to organise elections after the prime minister dissolves parliament. Jugnauth who is also finance minister will seek another term as leader of the Mouvement Socialiste Militant.
