Answers:
1. Sol. (A) Total cost of mixture = ssc-math-quiz-23-10-19= Rs. ssc-math-quiz-23-10-19/ kg. 

2. Sol. (B) p (– 1) = 3 (– 1)2 – 7 (– 1) + 10k
3 + 7 + 10k = 0
10k = – 10
k = – 1


3. Sol. (B) cos (2x – 20o) = sin (2y + 20o)
cos (2x – 20o) = cos [90o – (2y + 20o)]
(2x – 20o) = 90o – (2y + 20o)
2x – 20o = 90o – 2y – 20o
2x + 2y = 90o
x + y = 45o
tan (x + y) = tan 45o = 1

55% of 160 = 88


5. Sol. (D) A + B = 28000 … (i)
B + C = 31200 … (ii)
C + A = 28800 … (iii)
From (i), (ii) and (iii), we get
A + B + C = 44000
C = 44000 – 28000 = 16000

In second case = 5 : 7 = 20 : 28
Difference between amounts = 3
Now, 3 × 100 = 3 × r × 20
r = 5%


9. Sol. (A) a2 = 81
a = 9 cm.
Perimeter of square = 4 × 9 = 36 cm.
Perimeter of semi - circle = 36
2r + πr = 36
r (2 + π) = 36

10. Sol. (B) Let age of elder one be x
then other person's age will be = 85 – x
