(10) Anuj invested an amount of Rs. 13,900 divided in two different schemes A and B at the simple interest rate of 14% p.a. and 11% p.a. respectively. If the total amount of simple interest earned in 2 years is equal, what was the amount invested in Scheme B?

Q.1 SOLUTION:- Speed =         = 45 km/hr.


Q-2 SOLUTION:-   Let fraction
  

 2x + 2 = x + 7
 x = 5
 Req. sum = x+(x+3)
 = 5 + 8
 = 13

Q-3 SOLUTION :- Let B complete that work = x days
 
9x2 - 245x + 500 = 0
After solving,
x = 25 days

Q-4  SOLUTION:- After selling 20 article in 160 loss is 20%
S.P of 1 article = Rs.8
C.P of one article is
For getting 20% profit SP of one is 10  1.2 = Rs.12
For Rs.240 he have to sell 20 article.

Speed          20:28=5:7
Distance =     5:7
Difference  2=40
So initial distance 5=100
Required answer =Km/h 
गति     20:28=5:7
दूरी      5:7
अंतर  2=40
इसलिए प्रारंभिक दूरी 5=100
अभीष्ट उत्तर = किमी/घं 

Q.10 Sol: Let the sum invested in Scheme A be Rs. x and that in Scheme B be Rs. (13900 – x)

So, sum invested in Scheme B = (13900 - 7500) = Rs. 6400.
माना योजना A में निवेश की गई राशि x रु और योजना B में निवेश की गई राशि (13900 - x) रु थी

अतः योजना B में निवेश की गयी राशि = (13900 - 7500) = रुपये 6400
